    We've all seen the Azula vs Toph and Katara vs Azula threads, but what if Katara and Toph battled it out? Toph is said to be the greatest earthbender, yet Katara seems to be one of the quicker learners in waterbending. Who would win?

    I actually just meant that she worked with a teacher/has been at it for a pretty good extended period of time (6 years).

    Anyone find one of those " Lost Scrolls"? No pun intended seriously. They're a bit inconsistent but they provide a lot of detail to the four nations regarding both bending, culture and backgrounds. Anywho one point (which was also stated in the book) is that being away from a large body of water is considerably much more probable than??being away from??the??earth.??And??and????http://www.avatarspirit.com/interviews.php?id=16??top three voice actors on the show.??

    Toph would KILL Katara's sorry butt. Not only is Toph a much, much, much better Katara than Katara but she's a better bender. Probably the second best Earthbender in the world.

    Nah, Katara would just need to get Toph on water/ice like in The Serpent's Pass and Toph would be done. All it takes is a huge tidal wave to knock little ole' Toph off her feet.

    Yeah, Katara is a bigger joke than usually when she's compared to Toph. Toph is a prodigy and a Metal Bender. Katara doesn't have a prayer. The best thing she did was what? nag Aang's iceberg to death so he could be freed.
