Come on he is not that weak I mean he did kick some fire butt on that ship or what ever that was he is a good bender but not as good as toph

Toph. She's a blind master earthbender, AND has a different root of bending style. It's unique and only she (and Aang, I guess) knows it. However, Toph--MAYBE knows the other form and can predict her opponent's next move. But the last sentence is a MAYBE.
