    Here's the deal:

    Next episode (316) this is supposed to happen:

    Poor falling Azula...

    Anywho, the next episode title (316) is called "Katara And Zuko's Awesome Ninja Mission."

    I mean... "The Southern Raiders."

    In that... this is supposed to happen:

    Is it just me, or are we running a bit low on time?

    Or am I just delusional from my painkillers and imagining this entire scenario?

    We most likely ARE running out of time but I have suggested before that maybe the Katara-Zuko mission is not in the Southern Raiders.... Just a thought. :F

    This is indeed odd. We know that by 317 Suki is out of her prison clothes and the gaang(-Haru, Teo, The Duke, Hakoda and Chit Sang) is on Ember Island. But Zuko and Katara need to go on the ninja mission in 316.

    ... Both must happen. It's the only logical way to explain the lack of giant war ballon, half the gaang missing, everyone in their air temple clothes.

    So some Zutara bonding is about to be cut short. This will be interesting.

    Methinks that perhaps the ninja mission will be rescuing Mai and Ty Lee. I can't really see Zuko leaving her not after what she did for him.

    Well now they have this thing going on where these dudes are on a mission and they cut back to the island from time to time.

    So basically my theory for the "Southern Raiders" is that the current escape from Azula is the present time, the ninja mission is in flashback, and the Southern Raid is in flashback as well.

    Then at the end the three plots mold together in some interesting twist.

    You sure they're from same ep?

    Yeah that seems too full if we have both the WAT attack and Ninja Zutara (as team not ship) in same ep

    I am very excited for the Katara/Zuko secret Ninja mission. Anyone else noticing a pattern here? Zuko/Gaang (WAT), Zuko/Aang (TFM), Zuko/Sokka (TBR), Zuko/Katara (TSR). Looks like the only one who won't be going one-on-one with Zuzu is Toph, who is often neglected in these kinds of things. Oh well. Maybe she'll get cozy with him during the riveting performance we've come to know as The Ember Island Players. Then it's the finale. Should be a fun ride.

    as I recal, book 3 has 21 chapters, the last 3 being the final showdown. We already know about the ninja mission (possibly southern raiders) and the EIP...but that still leaves us room for one more chapter
    so I think we have time for both.

    316 - ninja mission (SR?)
    317 - EIP
    318 - ?
    319 - final pt 1
    320 - final pt 2
    321 - final pt 3
