well zuko dying would've been kool and dramatic. but it was kool with him living because it shows how dangerous redirecting lightning is (yes some people actually didn't notice that zuko redirected lightning but didn't bring it down far enough so it almost killed him) but the finale was perfect, no flaws at all 10/10

...p.s. flashback of iroh going into the spirit world would be kool, or flashback of iroh breaking out of prison, or iroh fighting...everyone love iroh...

I sort of wanted to see the fight between Ozai and Aang end with Aang redirecting lightning at Ozai and killing him. It would sort of be cool, killing a firebender with the same thing they used to kill him. Though I guess it might have been a little dissapointing if we didnt see Aangs Chakra unlocked and him mastering the Avatar State. Besides, characters can't die on nick without them being revived a couple minutes later. It also would have left the potential mini-plot about Zuko finding his mother non-existant.

I also sort of wanted to see Katara Waterbending more. I thought it was impressive when she defeated Azula though.

ugh... no one getes this... aang didnt master the avatar state in the finale, he had the avatar state mastered after he tunred his back on katara and opened his chakra (yes kime and bryan even said so) in the finale the rock hit his wound with so much force that it rearanged and straightened the energy in aangs back. the reason why he couldn't go in the avatar state after the lightning strike is because it twisted up his energy. then aang didn't have total control of himself in the avatar state while he was fighting ozai because the danger he was in forced him into the avatar state, so aang had the ability to get out of the avatar state, but only has complete control of his body in the avatar state when he puts himself into it

    ha

i wouldnt say katara DEFEATED azula.

she was insane. i dont think beating someone who is insane counts as winning.

azula would have fried katara if she was sane.

not exactly true.....cuz azula still is really harsh and good with her firebending.....she was just slipping.....so she finally lost.....but katara did actually defeat her because it was her strategy while in an intense combat.....azula would still fry her if she was insane too.....but katara kicked her butt

wow, i didnt know katara uses brains! i thought she just made everything as she went! what a plan that was!

im saying, if azula WASNT slipping, i think azula would know katara's "smart" strategy. well its obvious, you dont want to go near water when your fighting with a waterbender.

    and...stop....doing...this....

bumi's not the most powerful bender.

    toph is.

and if you wanna discuss who is the most powerful bender,

    heres the link

and the sozin's comet discussion thread is

Hmm, I'd still have to say Bumi is more powerful...I wont say anything more because there is already a thread for this. And this thread is about both the finale and the entire series. I dont think it will be locked...

ugh... no one getes this... aang didnt master the avatar state in the finale, he had the avatar state mastered after he tunred his back on katara and opened his chakra (yes kime and bryan even said so) in the finale the rock hit his wound with so much force that it rearanged and straightened the energy in aangs back. the reason why he couldn't go in the avatar state after the lightning strike is because it twisted up his energy. then aang didn't have total control of himself in the avatar state while he was fighting ozai because the danger he was in forced him into the avatar state, so aang had the ability to get out of the avatar state, but only has complete control of his body in the avatar state when he puts himself into it

Right...But he still felt an attachment to Katara. When Aang meditated, it unlocked his chakra, but when azula shot him with lightning, it locked it. Like you said, the force of him hitting the rock straightened the energy so it could flow, then when his body sensed he was in danger, BOOM, Avatar State. After the fight, he had full control of the Avatar State. What I dont understand though, is why he still had emotions and wasnt another careless avatar after mastering his powers.

i think he did have control over the avatar state cuz he was able to not kill him.....then a couple seconds later.....he got out of it....so obviously he did have control of the avatar state after he hit his back.....cuz he could control what powers he uses....
