Yeah you can say whatever you want, but I just hated how Aang and Kataara kissed in the end. It never seemed possible that Katara would have romantic feelings for Aang, especially when judging by age and maturity level. Even though I'm no great writer I personally think it would've been better if Aang had his feelings and all for Katara but eventually abandons it for his responsibility as the avatar. This relationship between Aang and Katara was one of the most unpredictable outcomes, in my opinion, when judging from the perspective of the first book, and I just wished they left it to end with the two hugging. Anyway feel free to refute what I said or whatever! Still a great show overall despite the ending!!

I think sacrificing his love for Katara to carry on his duties as the Avatar would have been fitting. That wasn't really my biggest problem with the ending though.

I think by what Aang achieved in the final episode he automatically became more mature. All his life he ran away from his problems but he faced his greatest fear. Whether this made him mature enough is up for debate I suppose.

its a show on nickelodeon. of course you have to have the happiest ending possible. and if u critisize all the things that arent realistic to you, the show wont seem as good.

I haven't really noticed a lot of Zutarian mobs...I think the issue most people are concerned about is the lack of closure on Ursa and Azula

I see what you're saying, but I think it was a way to show how Aang had grown up and matured into a young man. He's not that stupid little kid anymore, he's the Avatar...and he's old enough to be romantically involved with someone...

How was it an "unpredictable outcomes"?

I thought the ending was great. I am a Zutara fan but in the end Kataang works better and makes more sense.

A Zutara fan admit Kataang makes sense? Why, this is madness.

Actually it's dispair in that he lost and he must accept the black, souless truth that has loomed before him since the beginning of Zutara.

I always like Zutara because it would be an interesting twist but Kataang just seems to work better. I know I'll probably have hardcore Zutara fans hating me but be honest people Kataang makes more sense.

Not surprising since the creators never actually hinted at Zutara really happening.
