I guess if you think about it fire gives firebenders more power, so theoreticlly(sp?) The more they bend the stronger they get? But it might only count if it is an outside influence

Oops, sorry darkaquatus I think I posted before I read your post I read somewhere that that is how the firebenders learned firebnding because the breath is the key to the dragons fire and the benders fire, and Roku's spitit guide was a dragon.

Salking you dont get the point here, its IMPOSSIBLE that ANYONE could get any power from ur listed planets. they are just to far away! the fire benders only get a power boost when the comet arrives and gets close enough to the earth. they dont have this power-up always, you know why? because its TO FAR AWAY. they have to wait a hundred years for its returnal everytime. btw, we dont know how the fire benders learned how to fire bend yet... we only know that they use breath control for a proper fire bending control. fow all we know they leanred it from Ozai's comet (although this is very unlikely).

I didn't think about the comet idea. You are right??about the planets??being too far away. But you never know..... My theory kind of makes some sense. This is a whole different world we're talking about. For all we know, the planets couldn't have existed or they are much closer to the Earth.

By the way, isn't it Sozen's comet?

    lol tru..

man, as long as the people in this show havent told us anything about these things, we have to accept for the moment that it isnt tru. cause if it was, we'd probably know it by now lol. maybe ur right, but theres like 0,1% chance that u r.

All the theories that people have said could be true, along with the evidence they have given. You're right though that we can't accept it yet, but its just a theory.

    About the dragon:

Roku's is the only one we have seen. For all we know, dragons are spirit world only, and Roku got it after he died.

Yeah. That's what I always thought, too. If firebenders get dragons, airbenders get sky bisons, and I think that earthbenders get badger moles, than what do waterbenders get???
