Avatar: The Last Airbender: The World After Ozai's Defeat

After Aang defeats Fire Lord Ozai, the world will not just snap back into normalcy. Azula will probably still be running around trying to conquer everybody, and there will be thousands of fire nation soldiers everywhere who will still hold loyalty to ozai. Could this be a possible plot for a fourth season of Avatar

I can't see the fourth season (if there is one) putting Aang on cleanup and chase duty, it's not a grand enough scheme. I think if anything the fourth season may be set in the future when they are all older. There's no reason that there can't be a new threat to the world firenation or otherwise. Or perhaps a quest for the other air nomads. who knows?!

Come on, its a tv show on a kids channel made for kids, he will defeat him, if we've learnt anything over the past two series it is this. Aang, and I quote 'Must 'defeat' the fire lord before next summer'.

Even Roku said it, how he does it? I dunno.

I think since aang destiny has never been defeat Ozai, but end the war and restore balance, Ozai will be deadthroned by Azula, so Aang's mission will be defeat her! Ozai, will help her, since he'll think "wtf! I'll help her anyway, she's my daughter and is so intelligent... She'll win the war and it's not convenient for me to go againgst her, but Zuko will kill/defeat him, that wouldn't affect Aang's destiny at all. After Ozai's deadthrone, there will be a civil war, ended by Aang and Zuko will be the new FL, he'll end all problem in his nation, untill.... (see fourth season: air.)
(Azula will try to deadthrone Zuko (about 4 years later) she'll secretly will create another civil war), until (ang's dead, the Avatar is Katara and Zuko's younger daughter, a waterbender, like Katara, she'll have an older waterbender or nonbender brother, but the eldest sister is a firebender like Zuko, she'll be the heir to throne, so Azula thougth :"with such amount of kids I need a civil war to controll this west southern empire!, until the airbenders arive to help Zukoand Katara...)

That sounds great and everything, but is never going to happen, there is no way that Zuko will have kids with Katara, after the crossroads of destiny and once again Zuko turns out to be 'the bad guy' she can never and will never forgive him, especially with the incident being very emotioanl for her with what seemed like Aangs death.

Think about, if you made friends with someone whom you've distrusted and feared for so long only to have that trust broken almost instantly in a way which contributes to the near death of someone you love(be it platonic or not) then why in the world you you marry them.

Unless Zuko actually saves everyones lives and then tries to sacrifice his own for Katara its a no no to lil feet runnin around.

Give me a scenario in which Zuko might do this?

The gang will try to save Iroh, they'll find the blue spirit, they'll explain their plan, Katara falls in love (she is ashamed by her owns feeling) Sokka doesn't trust him, but Zukoleaves them, then arrives with the kyoshi warrios and the freedom fighters, because they were captured.
Or Azula shoot a lightening stright to Katara or Aang and Zuko turns it against her.

I doubt Aang would defeat Ozai in the third season, unless they rushed things. Aang hasn't even found a firebending teacher or mastered firebending. Aang can hardly hold his own against Azula, so what makes you think he can stop Ozai without a problem? Plus, now he will most likely have issues with the Avatar State, which would be his only full-proof way of standing a chance against Ozai. Anyway, if he does defeat Ozai, I'm sure they could have either Zuko (which I doubt) or Azula come to power and take revenge on those who stopped their father.
