Not all of us are as excited as the next person. We're just...uniquely excited I guess. Just the fact that avatar pwns other TV shows gives us something to talk about. Throw us a bone! |
but we already knew it won though
Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

It does. Uber-ly. Also know as UBer Pwnge. Naruto shippudens ok, DBZ is like, ??? to some people now because it was all...God powers and super duper hyperbeams and really angry faces. |

Like I said, throw us a bone. It's a phrase used to describe easiness and sublety to the acceptance of ideas.
Well, person with the spock icon, DBZ did have a Kick arse OST, I liked the guitar..."dddddddudndudndundudndudndudndudn!!!"

why are we so excited? |
Because despite the endless hordes of angry Naruto and DBZ fans who flocked to this forum and demeaned our glorious show, dismissing it as something inferior to their own shows, we proved them wrong. At the end of the day we were the fandom who had the greater love for our show, the greater determination to see it victorious in a contest where we genuinly believed that Avatar deserved to win (bending kicks ass as far as awsomeness is concerned). We proved our inherent superiority, and that means something.
At least Avatar doesn't have so many episodes powering up in the same fight. (refers to DBZ and Naruto)

Exactly, that's why I'm glad they made shippuden.
Lol, this is why Avatar isn't like DBZ and Naruto.
Ya, I made a million Avatar posters, because the lulz legacy of Avatar must continue. Long live avatar and it's lulziness.
HURRAY!!! LET'S CELEBRATE THIS MOMENTUS OCCASION!!!
ALL HAIL AVATAR!!

You know, if you keep bashing the other shows, eventually some fangirls are going to come on this thread and start raising a fuss. And lo and behold, Flame War XII. |
Was I bashing?

Nope, I think he thinks I was. It is not bashing to say that our show is better than those other shows by several thousand percent. That is simply our opinion. The difference between our opinion and their opinion is that we can back up our opinions with the ability to cream everyone else in any competition or debate of any form. That's why we're so happy about this.
Wars for shows are totaly fair, but for religion is isn't?
strange world.

Yes, there's a difference between shows and religion.
Show: Avatar: the last airbender
Religion: Noble Avatard ? (Avatardism?)

In the words of the immortal Lisa31468:
"Dude, we're not a fanbase - we're a religion!"
Having experience several moments of extreme emotion while watching Avatar that match descriptions of so called "religous experiences", I am forced to conclude that I have in fact unknowingly become a religous fanatic.
Avatardism FTW!

Dude, totally!
Lisa's quote! I loved that quote!
Avatardism: Defined as a physical and emotion life changing experience that is accepted by a human being when watching Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Amirite?

You are right.
Now, where were we?
Ah, yes. Another reason why we feel particularly satisfied about this victory is because in the aftermath of the voting several narutards were so mad at us for beating them that they bought the Sozin's Comet book and posted spoilers on this forum. Anyone who would stoop that low deserves to be crushed.
