    aargh this is following the classic second theory of pop culture
    R=(T*P)^-1
    Rate of time passing (R) equals the inverse of normal time passing multiplied by the time period between now and when the show starts. It means that the closer you get to the shows airtime, the slower the rate that time passes.

    This is opposed to the first law which is
    A=(M*N^2)^-1
    or the awesomeness of a program/band/whatever is inversely proportional to the notoriety of said program/band/whatever
    This states that the more popular something is, the worse it becomes.
    Keep in mind that the first theory of pop culture is only a theorem,there are exceptions to the rule, case in point avatar.

    I think this will end up being a rather dark episode I mean Zuko's going to help Katara kill someone? Darn that's a bit harsh for Nick.
    Though I don't think she'll go through with it, it'll be very exciting to watch.

    I agree. I am doubtful that Katara would go through with it. I'm sure, in the spur of the moment, she'll try, but Aang will save the day blah blah blah. If you watch the trailer, Aang is featured in the next scene right after Katara is throwing icicles at the man. Aang is in the same place. This was supposed to be a trip for just Zuko and Katara, if you judge this off the trailer. So how did Aang get into it? To stop Katara from becoming a murderer, of course =]

    Ahh, all this speculation is making me want to tear my hair out!!! There's still a looooooooong four and a half hours left!!!

    I know. Saddening doesn't even begin to cover it. Each time I think about it, I honestly don't even want to watch the new episodes. I have half a mind not to watch the finale. I just can't bear the fact that it's almost over! The movies will be out in 3 years, I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG! I mean, the more I think about it, the more I don't want to watch the finale. It makes the ending of the gAang so, well, final. Ahhahaa. I wish I had discovered these forums before the third season started. It feels like I only just got here =/

    But depending on where you live that would make a difference. Also, it would be after the episode, anyway. You'd be behind in the "after episode" buzz. You'd just always be 30 minutes away from everyone =]

    I don't think epic is the right word. Well, not for the finale, at least. I think it'll be filled with satisfied shippers who finally won their long term battle, people in hysterics that it's the end, and then angry freaks who were disappointed in the finale. I have a feeling the right word will be "chaotic"

    But, anyway, what do you guys think will happen with Katara ? Do you think she'll actually use blood bending? I do, but what about the consequences? How will she act afterwards?
