the preview didn't show as much as the players as comic con fans got to see, actually what it showed was more shiping foder than this ep did in just one line or two. the actress playing katana meets up with player zuko and says that player ang is more like a little brother... then they clip to a very intresting discution about relationships between Ang and katana.
that was pretty much the jist.
um..one episode till the "movie" and no lotus no Iroh...where are they?

Im actually in contrast with everyone here so far. For some reason that episode was really nothing for me. Aside from the part that saw Katara give up her hared from Zuko we gained nothing at all from this episode. They wasted an entire episode to clarify one thing that we all knew, that Katara's mother was dead...and just further developed the character of Katara. |

My thoughts:
1. Dang, Sokka needs to wear his hair down more often.
2. The curious part of me would like to know what Sokka and Suki were planning, but my avid Tokka shipping is telling me I'd rather not know.
3. Nice job completely cutting out Toph in this episode. What did she have, two lines?
4. "Kya", rofl. Why couldn't they dub that over?
5. I must admit, Zutara is pretty appealing. I'm sort of a Kataang/Zutara cusper as I really don't like any of those three characters.
6. Katara = total effin' psycho pmsmonster who kind of frightens me
7. Azula = not enough screentime. Nice to know she's just as insane as she always is, though.
8. LUL @ THE MAJOR ZUTARA FANSERVICE
And... that's about all that comes to mind.

It raises questions about the final battle and finishes up the story ark of Katara's mother. |

WHAT HAPPENED? This is getting annoying isn't it? |
summary:
in the beggining azula and a bunch of warships attack the Western Air Temple. toph digs a tunnel through which Hakoda, Chit Sang and everyone escapes through except for the Gaang (which is aang, zuko, sokka, suki, toph, and katara) because aapa doesnt like going underground. zuko decides that he'll hold the warships off thinking that its azula. azula and zuko get into a fight in which they're equal and both of them get blasted off the top of a warship. zuko is rescued by Appa and the Gaang. azula seems like she's about to die but she propels herself with firebending and hangs on to the side of a cliff.
It cuts to a scene at which the Gaang is camping. they're sitting around a campfire when aang decides to start a cheer for their hero zuko, in which everyone except for katara joins. katara then walks away and zuko follows. katara goes on to say how he betrayed them in Ba Sing Se and says somethings about her mother. zuko wanting her to trust him decides to go to sokka and find out how their mother died. which leads to a hillarious scene in which zuko is going to sokka's tent and finds suki outside, suki goes away after zuko asks if she needs to see sokka as well. one inside the tent sokka is laying on the floor with candles surrounding him and turns around to find zuko at the opening of his tent rather than suki.
can anyone else summarize the rest i dont want to type more

People found this episode sad? ...Wow. Maybe it's my strong dislike of Katara, but I found nothing about this episode to be even relatively emotional.
Ah, and I forgot to mention the scene where Zuko saved Katara from the blast & she got mad at him for not getting off her faster. Totally cliche, but that did trigger some little part inside me that ships Zutara. :v
