This question should've been asked in the San Diego comic con thing. That way we wouldn't be all confused on how she sees(Blind Bandit wasn't good enough)--and what surface she can see on. Anyone actually live there and went--and the ques was answered?

Yes, but it was because she wouldn't be able to bend. Toph didn't say, "I wont be able to see in there."

For Toph, the two go hand in hand.

You would think that if that were true, she would have said that she couldn't see - it's a much better reason for stying outside than "I can't bend".

Does Toph like Sokka? I mean, because she was like ''Oh, Sokka you saved me!'' and kissed suki, which she thought was Sokka, so i'm seeing a little bit of Sokka/Toph relationship don't you?

I think she does love Sokka....Youre right. Everyone loves a complaining stuborn guy with a boomerang!

Toph was kind of ignored in this episode. *crys a little* She needs more attention. I loved when she pulled 4 tickets to Ba Sing Se in front of the ugly clerk lady.

Blame that on Nick...i'm sure the Avatar makers didn't want this to be movie event...but the "secret" is that they had that big honkin drill...

It sure was {worth watching}. What part of "secret weapon" and "secret deployment" would not be qualified as a secret {in your eyes}?

I've read this whole topic now, and I'm confused. Isn't bending the same as seeing for Toph, so when she said "No, I can't bend in there" she also meant that she could't "see" in there. Because she needs earthbending to see right?

The consensus seems to be that it's a combination of vibrations and earthbending. If it were??only a matter of feeling vibrations, she could manage to??interpret disturbances in the air, or vibrations on a metallic vessel or ice bridge,??as well as??on solid ground. If it were only a matter of earthbending, she would have been able to see better {than she reported she could} on the desert sands.
