The problem is that nick is so obsessed with spongebob and fairlyoddparents because they were so successful that they totally neglect Avatar even if it's probably the best show that nick will ever have. |

Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

nick's problem isnt neccessarily that they ignore avatar but that they treat it like an outdated show. they dont advertise many avatar items like they do with spongebob and the commercials for it are few and far between. they definetly pay more attention to the sponge than the guy with elemental powers
Its true most people are getting turned off the show because they don't know as much as we Avatards know.
As for the Nickstapo they just sit back and get fat off the money Avatar makes from the Avatar reruns.
I feel so sorry for anyone who dosen't know Avatar is back on.
Saddest part of the hiatus is the noobs that go around asking "When will it come back" or "Has it been cancelled" or "Who's the _____est ______"
God, I get sick of them.
I never noticed that actually.. but that does kind of suck...
But now that i think about it, it would be confusing for new viewers. I convinced my younger sister to watch Crossroads of Destiny, and i had to explain what was happening for like 10 minutes.. 0.o (in the end, she left XD I accidently slapped her in the face in the first 5 minutes and she left XD Too bad, such an awesome episode!)

Noobs: Why we can't have nice things.
They've already killed /b/. And 4 chan is barely holding out the onslaught.
And now they have arrived here, on TV.com.

I don't go there meself cause of the lack of restrictions on certian images, but I mostly pick up whatever memes I can and talk to ppl about the funnier things. Everyone agrees that noobs have completely ruined /b/ by literally posting anything and everything, except something funny.
I will not allow the same to happen here.

Maybe, but remember, civilizations rise and fall... We are undergoing the dark ages at the moment. Once all this "Project Chanology" dies down and the new***s go away, we'll be able to start anew.

Until that day I'll do my best to survive the dark ages

Really I don't understand the mind of Nick, but I honestly don't think it's very smart. Unless people are on these forums or check the Internet they have no clue as to when new stuff is on it's way. How much has nick done to promote this show? The fans have done more advertising then them, the fans where and are the ones reassuring people it's coming back. I am willing to bet that without websites like tv.com, avatarspirit, dongbofeng.net (or however it's spelled) the show would have at lest 40% less viewers (probably even more). I know would have given up on it and thought it was cancelled had I not come here. I just find it annoying that we do so much to keep this show alive, to keep this thing we've all come to love going, and all Nick can do is drop the ball time and time again.

...you slapped her face ? O.o
pfft. I never got how someone could rank a show based on how often it airs rather than it's quality. The wait is annoying, but if someone who's shallow enough to call a show crap because new episodes aren't broadcast regularly, then I say good riddance.
The same goes for fanboys/girls. I'm talking about the ones who call themselves fans but only watch a show for a certain character and throw a fit whenever they don't like what's happening to that character and stop watching a show because of it. There's a big difference between a fan and a fan[insert sex].
The real sad part of the Hiatus is that Nick used to show Avatar reruns, but now they apparently are such Spongebob junkies that they have to sacrifice anything for the stupid little talking cheese.
Sweet Toph, Nick, at least show reruns, or the occasional marathon!
You know, i would love to see Nick's logic behind this,
*at board meeting*
Nick exec 1: "Alright guys, Avatar is ending. We all know that this show can bring in a vast audience and fans, and the finale can be an explosive hit. How should we go about airing Avatar for the next few months?"
Nick exec 2: "I know! Let's not show it at all. I mean, not once. No re-reruns, no ads, nothing."
Nick exec 1: "Brilliant!"
fans: wtf?!
