    Well they made Germany pay for all the damages they had done to other countries. So eventually they went in dept and went threw a depression. But than Hitler came along the coniving lunatic. And started a 2nd WW.

    well first, apologize...duh...then help clean up the mess and restore the other nations to their original glory and beauty...and also probably they need to fix the fire nation as well because there will probably be alot of problems after losing a war *don't know if they do thats just my speculation* and they need to get rid of the caste system and poverty there*going off of comments from Mike and Brian at a recent convention about what the fire nation will be like next season*

    Well they made Germany pay for all the damages they had done to other countries. So eventually they went in dept and went threw a depression. But than came along the coniving lunatic. And started a 2nd WW.


    Yeah that was a brilliant plan. Europeans are in most part to blame for AH coming to power. They're economy virtually collapsed, but Adolf came in and one thing you'll never hear in American textbooks is that his domestic achievements in Germany in the economy and such were remarkable. He's still considered one of the greatest leaders they ever had in Germany. He took their bankrupt and crushed economy and turned it around and gave Germans a chance to live normally and not with nothing.

    Of course then there was WWII and the Holocaust, which have permanently scarred his reputation elsewhere. Even though communist dictators Joseph Stalin and Mao Tse-tung killed MANY more of their own people (20 and 60 million respectively) AH is looked upon as the face of evil in our country. I'm not saying what he did to the Jews was right, in fact it was really wrong, but there are rulers out there who were worse than him.

    Anywho, straying from the subject a little....I don't know what their punishment should be. I don't think there will be a punishment. Aang will restore balance, and balance is where this world belongs at. I'm sure there have been countless wars before the Avatar has settled, and no one has paid for starting it with bodies or money.

    France stuck Germany with the bill. The German government thought they would just print more money to pay off the debt. This caused hyper-inflation and threw the German economy into the dirt to the point to where if you wanted to buy a loaf of bread you would need a wheel barrel full of money. Hitler came along and said that the reason why they where so poor was because of the Jews and that they did it to them by moving their money out of the country to secure their assets before the end of WW1, and also the bill they had to pay to Europe mainly France for the damages they caused during WW1. So Hitler promised to rebuild Germany and make them a force to be dealt with. Hitler comes into power puts people to work building weapons. Suddenly there is work to be had people are not starving in the streets. Even though Germany rearming goes against the Treaty of Versailles nobody does anything against it. Germany rearms and annexes Czechoslovakia United Kingdom and France agreed to this thinking it will advert a war. On September 1, 1939, Germany invades Poland, using the false pretext of a faked "Polish attack" on a German border post. World War 2 starts.

    A lot of people loved Hitler when he came into power and got people back to work and the economy going again. But even if Germany won the war since most of their labor production was into war means they would have had to default on loans and could end in another depression. But then again I guess it would be meaningless if Europe was controlled by Germany.

    Exactly. He would have been seen as one of the greatest rulers ever if he just stopped before the war and once rearmed focused the labor force on commercial goods for export. I know a few people who where in the Hitler Youth and they still say he was a great leader at the start before he went too far and started a war. You could even say Hitler's rule was partially the father of the modern 20th century. The Audubon was the first real highway system. Rocket science really took off. Jet aircraft became a reality. Nearly all modern weapons are based on World War 2 German weapon ideas. A lot of modern things are attributed to Germany from WW2.

    Yeah it could work. But their technology would also need to be spread out over the world. Well then again after the war I am sure that will happen anyway.
