I think the note has something to do with teaching Aang firebending. What else could that guy do to help Aang?

Why is the UK version called The legend of Aang? maybe because they planed to add airbenders after it was first aired on america.
Your "i can't find the link" argument fails to persuade anyone.

no, seriously, i've been looking for it for almost half an hour. i swear i've heard it somewhere, but you don't have to believe me though (which you obviously already don't) either way, it doesn't matter to me

Check the first edition of the Avatar Cinemanga, written by creators Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko themselves. They say something to the extent of, "While only certain numbers of people from the Fire Nation, Water Tribes and Earth Kingdom are benders, all Air Nomads were Airbenders." That definitely isn't the exact terminology but you get the point.

If you want to buy it they should have it at many stores. Or go to Walmart.com and search "Avatar cinemanga" and buy the first volume. There's 3 out by now I believe, but only the first has this info.

Even if all air nomads are benders...

The show is called 'The Last Airbender'. But it doesn't mean he's REALLY the Last Airbender. It just means they want you to THINK he's the last one. Really, though, I doubt that the note is about surviving air benders. The guy said he had a vision. It's probably something... visiony. About defeating the Fire Lord. Like, "Don't do this or you'll lose."

If that's true, you got me there!
but I still agree with what Firedraconian said, they want to make us think he is the last one.

And also no one has said anything about the ameriacan title being the only one called the last airbender. Why in the name of Jesus, would they change the name for the other countries??

From what I hear it's because different titles market differently to people of different countries. So "The Last Airbender" may grab Americans, while they think "The Legend of Aang" will grab others (I believe that's what most other countries versions are called when translated to English), including the UK. It's stupid, though. It's like changing the show 24's title to 23 because it's a daylight savings day....

from the website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avatar:_The_Last_Airbender (I love this website, next to this one of course) Avatar: The Last Airbender (known as Avatar: The Legend of Aang in the UK, Brazil and India) is an American animated television series airing on Nickelodeon. Originally slated to start November 2004, it debuted on TV February 21, 2005 and has also become available on iTunes. Produced at Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, California, and animated in South Korea (where many animated television series are animated), it was co-created and executive produced by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. In the United States, new episodes air Friday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the Nickelodeon cable network. New seasons of Avatar begin in the spring and episodes are rerun in the summer; new episodes return in the autumn and the season ends in early winter. Set in a fantastic, Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental magic, Avatar: The Last Airbender follows the adventures of Aang, the successor to a long line of Avatars, and his friends Katara, Sokka and later Toph, and their two animal companions Appa and Momo in their quest to save the world from the merciless Fire Nation, while avoiding capture from pursuers including Prince Zuko and other hunters from the Fire Nation. A consistently high ratings performer in the Nicktoons lineup, even outside of its intended six-to-eleven-year-old demographic, Avatar: The Last Airbender is popular with both audiences and critics. The series' success prompted Nickelodeon to order a second twenty-episode season, which began airing on March 17, 2006,[2] and a third season has been announced to begin airing in 2007.[1] Notable merchandise based on the series include five DVD sets of episodes, six-inch scale action figures, and two Lego sets.[3] A video game has been created and was realeased in October. Nickelodeon airs Avatar: The Last Airbender every weekday at 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. sooooo... I would say that it does have different names in different countries....

I find it hard to belive that the creators themselves would make a title that wasn't true, just to keep us speculating if there were really any airbenders/nomads left.

Can you explain, how uk and hispanic people would be atracted better, by changing it from last airbender to the legend of Aang?? Are they different to americans?? i really think it has something to do with future airbenders on the show.

Maybe the note is just so he can tell Aang to come and see him in the eastern air temple so he can talk to him about whatever he had in mind...

I don't think it was anything cryptic.
