    Mom's usually don't suggest to kiss their children. She sees Aang as a best friend, she's just a motherly person. As we know from 310, she doesn't think of him as an immature kid anymore, so Kataang isn't immature as you say.

    Throwing in vanity issues into a love relationship is ridiculous. Very shallow indeed.

    Have you noticed that Aang and Katara have not had significant time together? The focus has been on Zuko, and not in a shipping way. My guess is that they will have a moment to discuss, just not right away.

    Katara's feelings for Jet were as obvious as Sokka's feelings for Yue, both were meant to be short and to the point. But here relationship with Aang is a little more complicated that. (Nice comeback, but the lawyer in me won't let those scenes die. They will love on! )

    No time together? Haven't you seen the leaked BR? They did nothing in both episodes. They didn't even bother to have a moment where he tries to talk to her about it but a badgerfrog croaks and interrupts it.

    What I meant by the Jet bit was that, so far, Katara's only canon relationship has been with Jet.

    (Thanks, it's nice to see someone support Kataang who doesn't yell at Zutarians for twisting words and then says that letting an attachment "flow down the river, forgotten" doesn't mean he has to forget about his attachment to her.)

    That would have overloaded the scene. The only purpose of the scene was to let the audience know where the gaang though Sokka and Zuko went. Besides, Aang was sleepy. Hardly a good time for him to have a serious discussion. WiseLad said a while ago something along the lines of "The reason why Aang and Katara aren't seen talking about the DOBS kiss was so they can stretch out the shipping battles. If the two were to talk about DOBS, it would automatically show which ship wins" (sorry not a direct qoute; paraphrasing).

    The only reason why the Jet/Katara relationship was seen as canon because it was obvious. The Kataang relationship is subtle on Katara's end, but it is indeed there.

    i have to say i try to be neutral with the whole kataang vs. zutara. But i lean towards zutara more because katara and aangs relationship reminds me of my brothers and myself relationship (of course for all i know people have that sort of relationship with there boyfriend, fiancee, husband...).

    Something that always bugs me is that when ppl bring out evidence they can base it more on there interpration, like that interview from avatarspirit. Ppl debated whether or not they meant there wasn't goning to be zutara or not.

    Evidence Used:

    KONIETZKO: I think we've met some people where when he has her necklace in episode 109, people were like, "Oh, they're going to get together." (laughs) We were like, "Whoa! You guys are jumping ahead!"

    .....

    DIMARTINO: And I never would have thought that the potential Katara/Zuko romance was going to be so ... you know, so big for people? Because honestly, that wasn't our intention from the start (laughs).

    KONIETZKO: We knew about it...

    DIMARTINO: We knew there would be some tension, but it wasn't like we were going to play that up too much, so it's cool to see people getting into that romance stuff.

    So ppl can intereperate what they want to see (or in this case read)

    And then the trailer...

    Katara and Aang kissed, but why did katara pulled away? (if it is in fact she pulled away because they were kissing or some other reason)

    Then the whole zuko katara hug, and them practise fighting, dressed in black and katara turnign water to ice (bad description), and Katara cataching zuko when he is falling. The question with this is the just a good friend ship? or a budding romance? hard to say.

    And then Mai....well i never had much of an opinion of her, i liked her fighting ****..in BR she gets taken away along with Ty lee, what im worried about is that the creators think she and ty lee have served there purpose and gotten rid of them for good, or azula ordered them killed or something. I never liked mai/zuko cause while in BR it did show a deeper relationship thing, i dont think mai fell in love with the Real Zuko, i mean when they were together he was the whole perfect prince, father was proud of him and all.... just my thoughts.

    And for fun he is the ranking in fanfictions for each couple(sorry i though this was funny)

    Katara/aang: 57 pages

    Katara/Zuko: 98 pages

    Zuko/Mai: 10 pages

    Sokka/Katara: 4 pages (im very surprised by this 0_o)

    anyway just my thoughst/questions, ive kinda babbled, hope i didnt make anyone to mad.
