    True, very true.

    But I have to give her some credit. Most extreme shippers are just like "This ship is awesome and the other one sucks!!!!!!!!1111eleven". She's actually pretty open-minded and never outright bashes any ship. She puts reasoning behind it. Reasoning that, in my opinion, is a lot of overanalyzing and speculation -- but still reasoning, nonetheless.

    Well, I tend to view her saying "Aang is a kid" and stuff like that as stunting character growth and somewhat of a form of "bashing." but not ship bashing, bashing the show. Because it is bashing the show. It's the direction it's going in, and a very excellent one. As far as open-minded goes, I think she's one of those "DoBS Deniers" e.g. "Katara didn't like the kiss." Which wouldn't be "open-minded." But yeah, she's not like the extreme shippers.

    No she just encourages them, and gives them false proof and even worse, false hope.

    How can you tell them to deny the show creators when they made the darn thing? And I'm sure they hate seeing their work of art reduced to an angsty pairing.

    I feel like reviewing and criticizing tonight, so here goes.

    18 part 1:

    Yet again, she seems to be forgetting that Aang is HUMAN. She criticizes everything he does that seems "childish", when she doesn't even think about the fact that maybe he's just a tiny bit stressed considering all the stuff that's happening! And so what if he acts somewhat childish? He is, in fact, still a kid, and he can't help that. Katara is only two years older -- that doesn't make her a super-mature adult. Katara, being his best friend, is worried about him. What's wrong with that? Aang is stressed out and trying not to think about all the stuff that's happening, and Katara realizes this and is trying to convince him that he needs to focus. Any good friend would do that. Oh, wow. Okay. The camera focuses on Katara. That's evidence of Zutara HOW? Maybe it's focusing on her because she's angriest? Because SHE was the one who he hurt most?! Wow. Just wow. And they say Kataangers overanalyze. Now she's COUNTING the amount of times the camera goes to Katara?! *facepalm* I'm only three minutes into this episode and it already amazes me. Even if it DOES go to Katara that many times, how in the WORLD is that Zutara evidence at all? It shows she's angry. That doesn't mean anything except that...well, she's angry! Now, to Katara's rememberance of the cave scene. This is old news! We already KNOW she understood him and felt for him. She realized that he was, in fact, a human being, and that maybe there was more to him than a cold-hearted enemy. Why does that matter? If anything, that means she thought of him as a potential friend. There's no proof of anything more than that. And the similarities to Jet? So what? I still don't understand how any of this makes Zutara more plausible. And how does "bringing up Zutara points" mean anything if they're not romantic points in the first place?! Ugh, you've got to be kidding me. MORE Katara focus counting? *cough*filler*cough* WOW. That has to be the most pointless episode I'd ever seen....

    18 part 2

    Drama =/= love. Enough said.

    Yet again, it's that stupid focus thing. YES, it's focusing on Katara! No, that doesn't mean anything for Zutara! Zuko only cared most about her opinion because she was the one person who got to decide. That only makes sense. Oh my god. The Katara focus counter. I'm going to skip this part....

    Uncle Iroh talking about destiny...blah blah blah.... Sorry, but the smile means nothing. He's smiling. He's relieved that he actually has a chance to redeem himself and help people insted of hurt them. But using a simple smile as evidence for Zutara? (Shall I bring out Katara's smile at Aang while they were dancing that time? I rest my case.) Ah, time for the death threat scene. How anyone could get Zutara out of this is beyond me, but whatever. Okay, let's see. Yes, Katara brings up Aang -- but maybe it's because she doesn't want him to get hurt again! It's pretty simple! PLEASE don't try to tell me that Katara has absolutely NO bond with Aang other than the fact that he's the Avatar. That's just stupid. IN HER OWN WORDS, she knew he was the only one who could save the world...but she had no idea how close they would become. That pretty much sums it up right there. She loves him. That much is obvious. Whether it's just friend love or something more, she DOES love him. And that means she obviously doesn't want him to get hurt! Not JUST because he's the Avatar, but because she actually does care about him. AND YES, A MOTHER WILL PROTECT HER CHILD! WE GET IT! BUT A FRIEND WILL PROTECT A FRIEND, TOO. ANYONE WILL PROTECT SOMEONE THEY LOVE, REGARDLESS OF WHAT TYPE OF LOVE IT IS! And yes, Katara is passionate. So what? That means every girl who's not afraid to speak her mind is a perfect match for Zuko? (Bring out the Zuko/Toph shippers!) And somehow I don't understand how she's ever censored herself around Aang. She's never hesitated to tell him her feelings when possible. So this argument is pretty pointless.

    And of course she feels stupid for trusting him before. He betrayed her, and who wouldn't regret that decision? Yet again, NO relevance to any romantic connection between Zuko and Katara. And Zuko accepted the threat because he knew he deserved it. Aang was hurt because he didn't realize he was doing something wrong, and he found out the hard way. It's pretty simple. And yes, of course the threat was about her -- but that doesn't mean it wasn't about Aang, too. Yep, that about sums it up. She seems to be running out of evidence and struggling to come up with new episodes, so she packs them with filler (the Katara focus counter) and stuff that's obvious, yet doesn't mean Zutara. That's my personal opinion.

    LOL, Start having baby showers! With lots of steam! Why! Because Zuko and Katara exist for the sole purpose of "dark, dramatic" story telling that consist mostly of hawt angry steam-baby making pedo-bear sex!

    I've seen a few of her episodes, but I can't watch since they're so ridiculous, but I gotta watch 18 part 1 & 2, just for the lulz.
