Totally, and how they use real beliefs in which I'm starting to get into. Plus there is no technology like shows these days.

Also, they actually base it on real stuff (like the martial arts movement, etc.). This isn't like boring "Naruto" where they do simple hand movements then something happens. THIS is when they actually do something!

The bending??is what's got me hooked.??And the fact that bending isn't just a gimmick, you could remove the bending part completely??and just have everyone fight with different martial arts and the show would still be the??generally the??same(the Avatar would then be??just the spiritual bridge who's Avatar State makes him a more powerful fighter)

I know, you could actually do this stuff if you learn. Unlike Naruto where they are teleporting behind you or replicating themselves in ten.

When I saw the specials of the elemental movement for Avatar, I was like, "Holy s***, this stuff is real!!". My brother even wants to learn Hun Gar (Earthbending) karate

Some said Firebending is the most commonly learned karate class because it has a non-dificult name (Northern Shiolon or something, lol)

    1. It's something our entire family enjoys.

    2. Action-packed martial arts moves in the guise of 'bending.'

    3. Spirtually-sound in Eastern mysticism and philosophy, specifically Buddhism.

    4. Soon becoming an overnight epic, storytelling classic. (Like Lord of the Rings)

    5. You can watch the episodes over and over again and they are still funny and exciting.

    6. Exquisite animation.

    7. Deep enough for adults, but light enough for younger viewers.

    8. Each season finale makes you ravenously hungry for more episodes.

9.??Plots only deepen and never become boring??or stale.

    10. The only complaint we have??with Avatar??is not with the show itself?? but those who market Avatar at Nickelodeon and Viacom because the DVDs are not coming out fast enough,??there are not more Avatar products to buy and it takes forever and a day??for new episodes to air.
