Kai is Japanese for "meeting". So basically a "meeting of fire". Though I don't see the irony.

This isn't irony. An Agni Kai is purposefully called that because Agni is the name of the Hindu god of fire and kai is Japanese for meeting. Its not an irony.

... and king bumi's name comes from the hindu goddess of earth Bhumi. It not irony but carefully place subliminal education: like the episode ???avatar days??? when it talks about "Chin the tyrant" was a allusion to Qin (pronounced "Chin") Shi Huangdi the first emperor of CHINa who though war and conquest unified china under his rule, the name of china is derived from his name. Or like in the episode The ???Northern Air Temple??? when they talk about adding the smell of rotten eggs to the natural gas so you can smell a leak, well guess what in the real world they add sulfates (smells like rotten eggs, actually rotten eggs smell like sulfates cause that is what gives them that smell) to natural gas and propane so you can smell a leak and run like hell!

Well, people were going on and on about the meaning of Agni Kai. No one said "this isn't irony". And what you said wasn't funny.
