I think thats what they were called, can remember.

With-in the entire??disapointing finale, the most intersting and best part were the addtional Chugarts. Is it possible the addtion besides Earth, Fire, Air, Water, are bendable?

Think of this. Some big badgers taught earth-bending, yet many still can't do it. The sun taught Fire, yet many in fire-nation??can't bend,??and Moon taught water, yet most of the water-tribe can't bend... It seems to me that everyone has a bending power in them, just the other 4 have yet to be discovered by humans.

If that is the case, the 8th Chugart is thought.??If it is??true that these other chugarts can be bended then whoever discovers the 8th will be the most powerful in the world. To bend and control others thoughts would instantly make them ruler of all.

The question is??can the Avatar bend the other Chugarts?

??Just some thoughts that are bending my head!

I think you're referring to the chakras and yes the human mind can accomlish many things when we put our mind to it. Toph is hte first earthbender I've seen to manipulate metal, who knows what Aang will do in the future.

    ...HAHAHAHAHAHAA CHUGARTS...

Sorry. *cough* I've been watching too much Naruto.

    And, yes, it's chakra.

It's true that someone might be the most powerful even if they aren't the avatar. Look at Iroh - he began analyzing the other elements and talked about chakra build-up on the inside, and he is a powerful fire bender (remember him talking about the defense/offense of the water benders?). Everyone has chakra. Discovering them is a journey of their own to fulfill.

And I believe it's more about tactics rather than knowing how many elements you can bend.

If you know where to hit, you wouldn't need a sword like David vs. Goliath.

if avatar-verse uses chakra then that means that all the fights out on the net that say naruto sharinggon (the red eye thing that kakashi and sasuke have) wouldn't work on avatar people are wrong!!! *note i'm not saying one is better, i'm just saying that it would work because bender use chakra to bend.*

When they were saying chakra it totally reminded me of naruto I was expecting them to say chi but never chakra in this show I was laughing so hard.

Actually 'chakras' are not??an Avatar 'Guru episode' creation. In many belief systems they are believed to be just as the Guru described them to be--swirling pools of energy existing just as your bones, blood and muscles do inside your body.

In Eastern philosophies it??is thought that healing or setting the seven chakras into balance is the key to enlightenment.

I am curious as to why he almost died too but you make a good argument if Aang had indeed secured the last chakra by releasing his attachment to Katara then by all accounts he should have been able to sense and deflect Azula's lightening blast.

So the question remains why didn't he and what happened there?

Exactly. Chakra is not something that specifically originates from Naruto, but catchra is.

The Avatar creators so totally rock with such an unorthodox approach to conveying universal messages. What other 'kid's cartoon show' explores ancient philosophies and presents them in such a real and tangible way? The chakra system is a fairly intricate and complex philosophy. Avatar creators managed to explain it in such a easily accessible way.

The sakras/eer Chakra what ever they are spelled, were stupid. 1-6 was literally empty space fillers! He could have been practicing origami and it would have been more challenging! Also imagine the money savings of using old animation?

When going through the chakras you also have to keep in mind that Aang is a monk and the Avatar.?? He's practiced at accessing his spiritual side and even possibly mastered it.?? I wasn't too surprised that he went through the first six so quickly.?? Those were issues he had already been dealing with and all he needed to do was let them go and accept himself Avatar and all.?? I believe the 7 are earth, water, fire, love, sound, life and thought.?? All of it makes sense.?? If he wants to achieve true enlightenment (the Avatar state) he has to let go of fear, guilt, shame, grief, lies, illusions and even earthly attachments.?? I thought it was really interesting.?? I don't think you can bend the chakras.

I don't think the Guru said that once he mastered the Avatar state that he could sense everything around him.?? I think what he says is that Aang will be able to control and remember the things that he does.?? I'd have to double check on that but I think that's the gist of it.?? Keeping that in mind, Azula was behind Aang and Aang in Avatar state or not could not see her therefore he didn't know that she was getting ready to attack him.?? Also, just because he's in the Avatar state doesn't make him invincible, in fact, it makes him very vunerable.?? He has great power but can still die since he's still mortal.

Guru: Step one, clear your mind. Deep breath.
    Aang: Alright, now what?
Guru: That was the first chakra! End scene!
Aang: What? Are they all gonna be like this? We could skip over 6 of these steps! All we're doing is showing clips of what they already know!
Guru: Who are you pointing at, Aang?
DumbTVNut: its not polit to point at people!
