Ok... moving on from the "did or did Aang not die" topic... I think we can at least agree that, to Azula, it might have looked like Aang died while in the Avatar State. So there's a chance she could report that to Ozai.

It shows YOUR facts? You didn't make a single post on the page you linked...
In fact that page provided proof that Aang DID die...
Edit: Yeah, she would believe Aang was killed just from the appearance of how it all looked, not to mention that she was??right since it's a confirmed fact Aang did die.??Believe it or not.

Deleted on accident. Im with Mad_Scientist this isint an Aang thread. Pooldude isint the creators and the creators put the words, "If you are KILLED in the avatar state the recarination cycle WILL be broken and the avatar WILL seace to exist."(And if you watch the animation all the avatars dissapear right after Roku said this). Sorry on the spelling errors. |
And what do you supposed would happen if an Avatar is killed in the Avatar State, then is brought back from the dead? That person suddenly wouldn't be the Avatar? That the Avatar himself can live without actually being the Avatar? Don't duck the question either...

I really don't see Ozai taking Zuko back...the wanted poster he sent out labelled both his brother and his son as traitors...it's in print...to go back on that would make Ozai look weak...and that's one thing Ozai would never do.?? No...I think Zuko's in for a very rude awakening when he comes face to face with dear old dad...it'll be painful for him, to have his all his hopes well and truly crushed, but it will set him on his true path...and Iroh said his metamorphosis would be unpleasant...and what could be more unpleasant than losing everything? |
Azula was the one that was without a doubt the most hateful person towards Zuko (I dont' think Ozai hates Zuko at all) and yet she welcomed him back with open arms. Besides I don't think it would be seen as weak if Ozai gave Zuko back his birth right after helping to take over Ba Sing Se...Also as of now Ozai will also think that the Avatar is dead so there's more reason to give Zuko back his birth right.
And just to make a point Iroh was the only one labeled a traitor Zuko was simply a fugitive.

That last line made me think...Ozai didn't called Iroh a traitor, Zuko was just a failure. But I seriously doubt that Azula will want to share the spotlight for taking over Ba Sing Se with Zuko. I'm more than certain she'll spin it around so that she's bringing Zuko and Iroh in as a prisoner...

The thing is, I almost have to wonder why Azula was so welcoming to Zuko. Sure, she needed him to help her take over Ba Sing Se, but after they succeeded, why did she say what she did? "He doesn't need to Zuko... you restored your own honor." That's awfully... encouraging... compared to what Azula is usually like. (She called Zuko a miserable failure at the beginning of the season.) Does Azula actually respect Zuko now that she saw how powerful he's become, or is there something more going on?

Obviously she's going to get the majority of the spotlight since it was her planning and strategy that allowed them to take over Ba Sing Se Zuko just helped out towards the end so it's not like the spotlight would be 50/50
