    ok im wondering...

    y in the avatar state (the ep) they dont want him to go in it at all, but then in the new ones they are ok with it

    ??In the avatar state ep. katara did not want aang to go to the avatar state because it bothered her to see aang in such rage and pain, besides aang had no control over it and only goes into it when he is angry or in danger, and he causes great destruction. Aang relized this and decided not to try anymore, but the general forced him into and look what he did, he regretted hurting all those people. Now though he was learning to control it and then he could go into the avatar state only when he wanted to or needed to so he did not hurt anybody he did not want to.
