    a 4th season would be gr8 but seeing as the books are titled by the element tht??aang masters within it i doubt that it would be called air coz hes already mastered it

    i think tht if their is a 4th season then it shy away from the legend of aang and maybe be a prequel and show the lives of the 3 avatars before aang leading up 2 him. A couple of eps on each 1.

    I feel that the first three seasons of Avatar should be considered "Act 1". With that in mind, I feel that any additional seasons should be taken into account as the second act, where everything goes to hell (a la Empire Strikes Back). This is where my DA Theory would come into play (click my banner for a link to my thread!). Basically, the key is to create three season "acts" that up the ante without falling into the trap that similar series, such as Dragonball, that create unbelievable situations, where the world seemed to be destroyed on a regular basis, only to be restored after a single duel that lasted for a dozen episodes or more.

    good point but star wars 4-6 was written as one story but was split into three because of buget constraints the avatar is one storie and split into three acts seasions 1,2,and 3. bt=ut your idea is a good one but this dark avatar would have to beable to do something the aang cant other wies is would die a quick an painful death but it think the shows suporters would take something a little off the mark but you have to make shure that you dark avatar theiry isent so totay out their that the solid bace of avatar walks a way

    No one ever said the 3rd season was the last one. People might have said that, but it's still in debate in Nickelodeon if they want to order a 4th season or not.

    We already heard about three stories/three parts from the creators being the original plan, but they can alter it if they feel up to it.

    Season 4 should def. be Air. it should show Aang growing up and learning airbending. im sure there would be plenty of good chances for humor and drama: imagine learning how to fly... and messing up???

    Huh? The water won't be blue because real water if blue? Huh?

    It'll be difficult but if you've seen what Hollywood is capable of these days anything's possible. Air will be most difficult, but not impossible.

    third season should contain aang mastering (or come close to mastering) firebending and defeating either

    A. Azula then book 4 be all about Ozai or

    B. Ozai and book 4 being about defeating Azula

    my opinion anyhow

    That is EXACTLY what I think either Season 4 would be or the live-action movie... Azula starts a coup against Fire Lord Zuko and Aang and the Gang need to hunt her down and stop her.
