    Hmmm....I suppose I need to be more clear.

    The 4th season WOULD NOT have Aang cleaning up the world or anything. My contact on the staff informs me that if there is a 4th season with the current staff it would be awesome and make the Avatar world even greater than it is. Of course it is just one person's opinion, but I think they should at least have a shot at a 4th season and we should give it a shot as an audience.

    "Defeating the Fire Lord and restoring balance to the world" is not the only plotline that can come of this show. Great writers can always find more ways to make a show awesome.

    I have no doubt that the Avatar team wouldn't be able to make up an awsome plot line, I just didn't want it to be "spin-offy". Evey once in a while I'd like to see something stick to its original idea. Not go crazy and do a whole bunch of stuff. There could be a million spin-offs in Avatar, but I'd reaaly enjoy just seeing the main plot line, with no little bells or whistles added. I'd rather just go out with a bang.

    Like for instance, an evil Avatar and normal benders have to try and??stop him? Wouldn't that make an interesting new direction? And that's just off the top of my head...

    One I've been thinking about for a while is a spiritual threat. I mean Koh can't be the only evil spirit, where's the balance in that? Unless you wanna say Wan Shi Tong was evil...

    I wan't a fourth season,but only if they can come up w/ a new story arc that is about the main characters I don't want new ones.

    Won Shi Tong isn't counted as evil I think.

    even if avatar in season 4 was only 75% as good as the original, it'd still be awesome show. kinda like michael jordan when he came out of retirement.

    however, a new team of writers could totally screw everything up, but our writers now are so talented that they'd have a hard time coming up with something bad.

    My sister had a pretty cool idea for a season four. Aang saves the world, yea everyone is happy, he doesn't want anything like this war to ever happen again, so he tries to become super powerful, especialy with his avatar state, he sort of sets somehting off, is in permanet avatar state and the world is freaking out and going through chaos. He either has to find a way through the spirit world to turn it off or something to do with air, or airbending, or an airtemple, since the fourth season would be air, or the rest of the gaang has to help him out of it. I dunno, sounded cool.

    that is pretty cool. that would only last a couple episodes, though.

    i'd love to see them make another 4 or??5 seasons.?? With all their loose ends they could.?? But they've already said that this is the last season ?? it's a good show and could last another 100 eps be4 it got old and worn out and thats the reason they think they'll end it on a good note after ep 60.?? It's kinda like Naruto and Inuyasha.?? They made stupid fillers for like 180 eps and then they recontinued the series which is garbage no one liked a single filler ep.????Must have a hole in their head to make those cause it has nothing to do with the show whatsoever.

    ??you all have good points but the one loose end that is most out their is that fact that he is the last airbenders and he will have to start them again inorder to keep the balence and insure the contuation of the avatar cicyle so the?? forth seasion "air" could be about rebuilding the??airbenders and rebuilding the four nations after the war??

    also?? in the sothern air temple monk geotso was the only dead airbender found and their was no bison if they had been?? kiled their would be bodies. maby they are hiding in the forth?? temple that we havent seen yet it is possabule that the rest left and geotso stayed to wait for anngs return ( which he wouldent) you have to admit it their was no other airbender or air bison found just geotso

    No one ever said the 3rd season was the last one. People might have said that, but it's still in debate in Nickelodeon if they want to order a 4th season or not.
