    Azula seems to be able to see in the mirror reflection, thats why she throw something at it. Simple apparition ?

    As Azula mentioned in The Beach, her mother thinking she was a monster was the only thing eating at her. I'm guessing after the prisoners escape from the BR, she can't sleep and starts seeing her mother because of it.
