Was just wondering which scenes would be voted the best. Personally, watching the once mighty and confident Azula break out into hysteria and insanity like that made me feel REALLY REALLY bad for her. She could have died, that would have been a lot less painful, but she had to be chained there. Watching her randomly breathe fire about and screaming like a crazed woman really makes you pity her. And we see Azula CRY. She has officially broken down, so yea, its pretty pitiable. am I the only one who actually thinks this way? ._.

No you're not. I almost cried during that. But the kiss at the end was really tear jearking to me. I cried a WHOLE LOT. It wasn't just the beauty of it being the last scene of the whole entire series and the innocence of the momment, but the fact that when it panned up to the sky it said, "The End." I had a hunch that they would make it say that at the end of the series, but just actually seeing it...now that's a whole different story.

I think its the Kataang kiss, well actually the entire ending scene in Ba Sing Se.

Seeing everyone like that i sorta felt a connection with Aang when he looked at everyone with that light smile, knowing its all over. I had a flashback of all the great things in Avatar at that moment, like the iceberg, the first trip to the air temples, Omashu, the north pole, and Ba Sing Se. Then the music came that comes at the end of episodes with generally happy endings. Everything was sealed with a kiss as the Kataang theme played....then THE END.
Oh and dont forget the awesome new credits music!

    I was touched.

The Zuko-Iroh reunion certainly made me tear up the most. Zuko begging for forgiveness, him pleading to his uncle to believe that he was sorry. Then of course the big hug. The music did a lot for me too. I must say though, the Azula break down scenes have affected me the most. I didn't "well up" as much during them but they were very heart wrenching to me. There were a lot of other scenes during the finale that made me teary eyed but those are the major moments.

Well I don't know about you but I think the single greatest moment of that AMAZING finale was Zuko diving in front of Katara to save her from Azula's lightning. I mean that was just amazing. I will tell you I have watched the finale twice so far and both times teared up. To go from a -threat to saving her life in 8 episodes should be enough for even Kataangers to appreciate.

That was just too good for television though. I wouldn't be surprised if Mike, Bryan, Aaron and Joaquim were sent to jail for making TV that is TOO good, it should be illegal.

Pooldude...we are not worthy. But yeah, I agree, that was the epic, tearjerking Agni Kai we've been waiting for. The track team did a really great job with the music during that, and we finally get to see Azula loose her mind at the end.

    Pooldude!

And I shed a tear when Zuko and Iroh reunited. Also shed some when it said The End.

well none of them actually made me shed a tear but the one scene that got me thinking the most, and mostly due to the KICK ASS VIOLIN PLAYING, was the fight between AZULA vs ZUKO, I mean true Azula had a twisted sense in her intereractions with her brother, please no Azuko jokes, but when you saw the feriocity in the way they were attacking each and then you think of the plain fact that they actually used to be happy with each other, also the plain point that they are brother and sister, all that is left to say is WHOA

All those scenes were all very big Tear-jerking moments. But so much was going on, and I was in awe the whole time, so I couldn't fully appreciate those scenes.

But after I watch the finale again, I think I'll be more emotional. The Iroh/Zuko reunion and Azula's insanity/take-down scenes were probably the most effective scenes. Bryke and the crew delivered them wonderfully.

    Damn you Bryke.. *tearbends*

I do believe that the ending scene in Ba Sing Se was the most touching(the music for all of it made me tear up - a bit different, but the music for the happy moments of the series), minus the final kiss. I HATED the kiss! Sure, it was sweet and the shipping battles are over and Aang is happy now, but why did that have to be the ending? It was cliche, and not what the whole series was about. Would have been much happier if it had stopped a few seconds earlier with the hug.

Well hey, everyone's entitled to their own opinions. I personally think the ending was beautiful. It showed that this is exactly what they worked for, and the kiss just made me wow.

Zuko and Iroh. I was OK until Zuko's voice broke. I never expected that from him. It just pulled my heartstrings so much. And I said it before, I'll say it again with no offense to Greg Baldwin: the only way that scene would have been perfection would be if Mako was still alive or had at least managed to voice that part.

I've watched the entire thing three times now, and the scene with Katara and Aang kissing at the end has made me cry each time.
