Air: maybe separate nitrogen from oxygen to suffocate people. just throwin ideas around. maybe put air in their blood stream cause the heart cant pump air.

Fire: Create a dome of fire around an enemy and slowly close it.

Earth: Make an earth drill to kill enemies in a R rated manner.

Water: make a ball of water on an enemies head to drown thim with a little bit of water.

Yes!!!! finally two pages! hey and your fire dome could work with any bending?? and

Fire: (with many many benders) First try and find a volcano then bend the magma then shoot at enemy burning them??Ps you may not think this is specail but it wouldnt stop because of water, and worst thing is it turns solid and nails em.

PLUS earth benders might be able to bend magma

Jeez, people, metalbenders are NOT real! It even says so on the Nick.com Avatar site page. Earthbenders can't bend man-altered metal because once it is smelted the natural impurities are taken out. Here, I quote myself from another thread:

Earthbenders can bend metal, but it has to be natural metals in the rock. Once it is altered by man, it cannot be bent. Here, I quote from the Nick.com Avatar site: "Earthbending's most significant weakness is its inability to manipulate man altered metals. Firbenders exploit this weakness by smelting metal to remove it natural impurities, and then using it to construct their armor, ships, and forts." That is why. Here's a link for you to check yourself:??http://www.nick.com/all_nick/tv_supersites/avatar2/index.jhtml?gquit=true. Click on one of the nation symbols in the corner of the map, then click on "The Bending Arts" and then scroll down to Earthbending.

Metalbending is real and Toph is the only??metalbender so far.?? Below is proof from ZenNuklearPower:

Am I the only one that actually checks this site when new episodes come out? http://www.nick.com/all_nick/tv_supersites/avatar2/index.jhtml?game_name=avatar_autumn&_requestid=1432638

its one heck of a link, but its a really cool info site. If you go to the Guru (click the spot on the map for it) then to Gear and More (which shows new techiniques/items the Gaang finds) you find this under metalbending:

"This is a type of bending that only Toph is able to do. She is able to do it because in metal there is always a trace amount of Earth. Usually the amount of earth still in metal is so small that it's undetectable even by the best Earthbenders. But Toph is better than the best Earthbenders -- maybe it's because she is blind and has always used the Earth to see -- or maybe it's just because she is that awesome."

So there you have it, straight from the horses mouth

Technically, its actually indirect metal bending since Toph isn't actually bending the metal, but the trace amounts of earth found in the metal.

Those are more of branches than "superpowers." What the person has up there is pure, unadulterated normal bending, but used powerfully. Those are powerful in their own.

    Speaking of which,

We have our healing, our metal, and our lightning. What's next? MIRROR, which is more or less illusion. I believe that Airbenders can bend light and use tricks to create various illusions, such as invisibility, holograms, and holographic clones. This would agree with an airbender's philosophy of avoiding and evading. An airbender can only learn illusion-bending when he or she is presented with a life-threatening problem that can by avoided no other way, and after that he or she may use the ability and refine the skill. Just a theory.

    I like your illusion idea.
