    Oh, my gosh! It probably does mean that. I think that it might be right before they go raid the palace and Zuko's probably appologizing for being a jerk before just in case they die, and Katara hugs him in an "I forgive you" way. Okay, this next part is my very hopeful Zutara fangirl talking so please don't get mad at me. I also think that they admit that they have feelings for each other and Zuko's saying that they might die, and their conversation might go something like Katara and Aang's before the invasion of the eclipse. Katara will then hug him affectionately, and maybe even kiss him lightly if us Zutarians are lucky. Yeah, very unlikely but shippers do that.

    I still say she ends up with Aang. This show follows the same formula that so many other do when the main cast is a trio consisting of two males and a female. Since Sokka is her brother, we rule him out. And we're left with Aang. If she does end up with Zuko I will be surprised.

    And we probably shouldn't read too much into that hug. Remember back when they showed the trailer for Crossroads of Destiny? Everybody thought it was going to be a big Zutara moment, and yet it ended up being nothing.

    Exactly, plus Zutara just comes out of nowhere, I'm not a shipper or anything but seriously nothing supports Zutara, it's just so random according to the story.

    I don't really think that old person is Hamma...looks more like a guy. But I do recall people saying tha Jun is coming back...? (Unfortunately, my fangirlism doesn't take me that far, so I don't really remember who that is...)

    No, I believe the hug scene is just at sunset. The red from the finale is really more of a hue that covers the whole screen, you know?

    It could mean a lot of things. She really looked more surprised than anything that he was kissing her. But I don't know. *shrug*

    Speaking of that scene, did anyone else notice that the moon behind them seemed to be full, though?

    Oh, your right. Maybe, since the moon was full, Katara decides to teach Aang bloodbending before the final battle, and he kisses her. I have a friend that was confused of that part too. Well, looks like we have to wait until July...

    Yeah, that's the problem (and I kind of like it like that). The creators LOVE to torture all the hard core avatar fans and make them think that this is going to happen when really that is going to happen. Anyway, I completely agree.

    And the thing is, maybe the full moon's powers only apply to waterbenders? Dunno if Aang could learn it. And you never know - I don't think they'd have a whole episode on bloodbending if it's never gonna be used again.

    no i think that this picture is right before the second invasion, plus the sky is red " We will see Ozai being crowned the Phoenix Lord, in which the sky will be red. " idk maybe he will be crowned when the comet hits which is right before the invasion. and both katara's and zuko's face are sad. maybe they're saying goodbye?!

    The sky in this screencap has hints of blue, whereas the red in the finale was an entire shade of red. I still think it's sunset...
