It's the most annoying thing in the entire series (the second being the ToBSS scene with the Air-Scooter Earthbending). |

Couldn't they have had the line be "Wow, some kind of light!" "I see it too Katara!" "Let's go check it out." |

What's so wrong with Air-Scooter Earthbending?

Earthbending = Solid, rooted stances and forceful movements. |

Ever since Bumi sent a boulder up the delivery system with his chin-up bending, I've doubted the omneity of that postulate. He was solidly rooted in a metal coffin (and air is everywhere), and Aang was solidly [seated] on his air scooter(close to the ground mind you), so that's why I imagined that "lighter" earthbending is possible without the need to have both feet firmly on the earth. |

... we have a good understanding that people who have been to the spirit world can see the spirits in the physical world. Now that does not explain too well about Katara's knowledge of the spirit world. Take for instance in the SoTN first part Katara seemed to know a lot about Aang's methods to get to the spirit world as she explained it to Yue. (The part I mean is the whole thing about not moving his body or disturbing him.) How did she know about that? |

From all of the above I am able to conclude that Episode 7 should have been called "Spirit Form" not "Spirit World" because Aang never went to the spirit world. He only stayed in the physical. He was seen by Iroh because Iroh has somehow gone to the spirit world. Roku sent his dragon but could not come with it. Don't ask why. |

I was just watching the episode and noticed something that brought a good question to mind.?? While Aang is in the spirit world riding the dragon, Iroh notices him as he flies overhead.?? I wonder how he could do that when no one else could see him.?? Any thoughts or was there some other explanation explored in another episode? |
i don't understand why there is such controversy about the siege of the north episode.?? if aang wan't moved his spirit (the glowy thing) would have come back no problem.?? since it was moved his glowy spirit had to find him.?? when katara sees the glowy thing it must something to do with the avatar.?? every weird thing since meeting him has had to do with him.?? Avatar state is just a melding of the avatar spirit and his current physical form, that's why he glows.
I think that there is going to be a whole book (season) dedicated to all the avatar /spirit questions after books on fire and air.?? there is a whole set of powers that are untapped and unexplained because aang is shakey at best with the avatar state.?? we've seen uncontrolled avatar state. we've seen some cool tihngs in the episode "the swamp" and some cooler stuff in "the guru".?? there must be so much more!
