i think we need more confirmation on that. I dont see why he cant alter someone else to become an airbender. I dont need he needs to have something to give when it comes to spiritbending.

I don't think Bending can just disapear, My guess is Aang probably absorbed it

See my stupidity knows no bounds and will strike where-ever and whenever and too whoever!! anyways Like I said I know one of the movies would be about Zuko and finding his mom anyone have any ideas on what the other two might be about! and I would love a soundtrack especially one based on the music on Sozins Comet! that music was the best...but dose anyone else feel that Nickelodeon has screwed up in the handling of the Avatar license really bad!

Ohhhh God yes. For a while there I was convinced that someone up their in Nick's office hated Avatar with the burning passion of a thousand suns, and was doing his (or her) best to kill it.

and it spread to everything they touched! Mattel didn't release action figures based on the females, no soundtrack, the quickstrike cames so-so and what about trading cards! I would love to have a set of trading cards...oh and they did two lego sets and two mediocre video games Avatar is set to be a role-playing style game! think about playing as Aang and earning experiance points to place into what abilities you want I mean that would be cool!

Hey guys, I have a question about the giant lion turtle.. When Aang spoke with it, what advice did he give Aang and what did he teach Aang.? I guess I'm just asking for someone to explain that whole part, haha.

    Thanks

Its gone, not poof gone, but gone.

I think spiritbending is more of blocking the energy in someone, not actually taking something in or out. Its about influence and corruption.
The lion turtle said that your spirit has to be unbendable otherwise it will become corrupt and be destroyed to spiritbend. Thats why i think its all about influencing energy, giving that person a bending ability/taking it away. On the chance that you need something to give though, Aang cant give away anything as he is unbendable.

I THINK IT WAS KINDA DUMB THAT AZULA WAS DEFEATED THAT EASILY. I THOUGHT THAT AT ANY SECOND SHE WAS GONNA RIP THE CHAIN IN HALF AND FIGHT KATARA. I GUESS GOING NUTS DIDN'T HELP THE MATTER.

well mike and brain said that there wont be any airbenders until there is balance in the world, the world is still unstable until aang and zuko help fix it, i think once the worl is stable aang should go to the whatever air temple it was and give some energy to those people who biult the gliders and air bollons?? bc they are the closest people to have the spirit of airbending

I felt almost sorry for Azula going stark-craving mad (almost).
I was hoping she'd end up scarred like her brother to ensure a mental breakdown...

She wasnt defeated easily...Zuko almost died and Katara had to rely on trickery to stop her. She wasn't even defeated she was just out smarted because she was not thinking straight. For one, the normal Azula would not have been wasting energy shooting lightning at a low level peasant like Katara...that right there shows that she was delusional and hell bent on killing everything that stood in her way. And Azula always carrys those little knoves so if she was thinking straight she probably would have used those to pick the lock and sneak up on them...she always has a 2nd and 3rd plan because she always thinkig ahead of everyone else...like when she fell off the air ship in the begininng of The Southern Air Raiders, she used the knives to stop herself from falling to her doom. Azula is one of the best characters on the show!!!

The fact that bloodbending can only be done during a full moon pretty much ruined any chances of it happening more then once after the puppetmaster episode. I agree she could have atleast talked about it with the GAang more, or Zuko could have said something instead of standing there like she was naked, but I guess the creators decided to leave it at that. That was enough for me anyway. Bloodbending is pretty much the ultimate bending, other then giant turtle bending, so im glad they didnt give it more screen time. It wouldve just made fight scenes boring and dull. Speaking of fight scenes, I have to say that the Zuko vs. Azula fight scene was the most adrenaline rushed, exciting, colorful, orgasmic audio-having scene in Avatar, or any other anime (except maybe DBZ) that I have ever seen. I am still confused about whether or not Zuko actually REDIRECTED the lighting that Azula shot. It looked like he stuck his fingers out as if he were trying to, but it looked like it overwhelmed him. When I saw his arms go into his chest I thought he was finished, but then a random streak of lightning shot into the sky. IDK abotu you guys but that seems wierd to me. AND it left a scar to so how could he have possible redirected it?!?!?!?!?!?! Another thing...who thinks its retarded that ZUKO has the balls to redirect lighting at HIS OWN FATHER, THE FIRELORD, but Aang doesn't have the balls to redirect it at HIS ENEMY...??!??!?!?! That seems completely retarded to me

1). giant turtle bending, although awesome, was an easy way out so the writers didn't have to develope any sort of GOOD ending

2). the fight scene was freaking awesome. the battling colors=great cinamotogrophy (or drawing i guess) on behalf of whoever is in charge of the creative stuff

3). Zuko got distracted when he saw Katara, and didn't have time to focuz on redirecting it and just took the hit. It shout up to show that he couldm't redirect it. Hey it had to go somewhere? It couldn't just dissolve into his body.

4). It don't think it's retarted because Zuko's character is an anti-vigilant. So he doesn't struggle with stupid stupid morals like Aang.

5). Aang's character is just soooo very lame. But hey, it's a kid's show.

But when aang was hit by the lightning in the season 2 finale it just hit him, it didnt redirect somewhere else...

inconsistancy by the writers maybe? Idk.

Here's my theory: Zuko was hit by the lightnig, and THEN re-directed it. He wasn't hit by the full brunt of the blast, but he was still badly hurt.

The lightning that Azula hit Aang with exited from the bottom of his foot.

Wait, seriously? Throughout the finale I kept noticing that there was some sort of injury on the bottom of his foot, but I couldn't remember where he got it!! So that's where Azula's lightning exited?

I"M SO SAD It's over. *sob* Even though I like Pokemon more, I cried for 4 days almost non-stop that it was over. nd the ending really didn't help. But i will really hope that there will be a spin off soon. like with Ben 10 to Ben 10 Alien force, and Speed racer to Speed racer: the next generation. If they don't make a spin off for Avatar, I will cry for like the next 70-80 years of my life. and double that for Pokemon. I swear I've know avatar since I was really young. so please help me get nickelodien to make a spin off!

Bending depends on the breath, so by flooding herself and Azula, Katara leveled the playing field and had the one up. Azula always could count on her bending, she was taught as a toddler. Katara had to find her own way at first, and using ordinary power wasn't such a letdown or debasement to her.

Otherwise, very clever way of the dealing with the Fire Lord/Phoenix King. Take away his bending, declaw and defang the Tiger. His whole attitude was based on might made right, and now he isn't the mightiest anymore.

Yeah, we could do a season four, where Zuko has to balance budgets, deal with bureacracy and find his mother and deal with cranky Mai (wonder who they are betrothed to), Aang has to find a school or a home to go to, Soka, and Katara and Hokada have to wend their way home, and Toph should go home to her parents.

    But not anytime soon

I really do hope that Avatar isn't over because I still have questions. Like what happened to Zuko's mother. The commercials said that all of my questions would be answered and their not. They should make a spin off called "Zuko: the next firelord."

Well Pokemon ceases to end so you'll probably kick the bucket before pokemon ends(sheesh are they like on season 12???) And dno't worry, Avatar will continue in either a spin-off, next season, or a really long movie on tv to tell of our heroes end. Hey, don't forget about the live action movies coming out!!!
