Same here. I get that they had to make him all mystical, but still. I didn't catch any of it either ; -;

Nickelodeon (ended 2008)

Um, no. Don't delude yourself. They really only left one question unanswered, Ursa, but it's already been half answered, really. |

My lord I need to rewatch like early season one! Jun kicks arse, sassy woman ha |
it was pretty good. i mean, it was predictable, but it was good.
Azula was completely insane. i'm so glad they didn't hold back with her insanity and just went all out, because crazy fits her. the hair cutting scene was amazing, her her blasting fire out of her orifices when she was chained down was pretty cool too.
& OMG. it was so cute wehn Sokka tackled Toph to protect her. it was about time he repay the for for back when she saved him from Azula by doing the same thing. and... well, the whole scene with Sokka and Toph on the air ships was amazing. I certainly didn't expect much between those two as i know how children's cartoon always play out, but it wasn't bad. would've likes a bit more Toph/Sokka interaction in the end, though.
AND THE CLIFFHANGER!?
"where is my mother?". perhaps the Avatar spinoff won't venture too far from our protagonists! there is no reason for a cliffhanger like that if they weren't gonna follow up.

I'll give you the secret... it's 'cause Nick didn't make it. They only purchased Bryke's ideas |

Their first meeting, he said that "before the avatar, we did not bend the elements, we bended the energy within us."
During the speaking when Aang was removing Ozai's firebending, the lion turtle's words were "if you want to control anothers energy, you must make sure your energy is uncorruptable, or you will die". Not verbatim, but thats what it said more or less.
THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING SEASON FINALE EVER!! The music during the Agni Kai was beautiful, and I teared up on quite a few scenes (weird for a 19 year old guy, huh). The battle between Aang and Ozai was brilliant, as was Zuko and Azula's. The airship scene was, again, brilliant, and the scenes with Ba Sing Sei were just amazing, and I loved the scene with Uncle burning the fire nation flag.
BUT ARE THERE ANY OTHER AIRBENDERS?!?!?! In Avatar mag 3, it was said we would find out about more airbenders, but we never did. And Zuko's mom...ACK!!! WHAT NOW?!?!?!
A brilliant ending to one of the best, if not the best, show. I no longer have anything to watch on tv, and nickelodeon just lost a viewer, I only stuck around this long b/c of Avatar.

I'm glad it happened that way. At least this way, the writers are giving us space for imagination on what happened next. It ended with just Katara and Aang standing overlooking the ocean, so, we don't really know what happened. And they didn't reveal what happened to Ursa. So there's a lot more possibilities of what could have happened, and more chances for a sequel. |
