Another thought just occurred too me; I would have liked to see more of Aang being jealous of Zuko (because he assumes that there is a Zutara thing going on). But after that EP he just kind of forgets all about it, and acts like everything is normal =|

Okay, let's get more upbeat, did you ever notice that Aang didn't really practice earth bending that much??

well, come to think of it, he didnt really practice any of them much....they just sort of came

well i think they were saving time by just letting the audience assume he was practicing between episodes. oh and to point out mistakes in the series, did you know they messed up with Toph. in the episode Aang was swimming exposing his skin/arrow when they were suppose to be undercover fire nation kids. and Toph mentions Aang should cover up, because his arrow is showing. well Tophs blind, she cant see his arrow.

i caught tha too! and in the first one of season 3, Aang is about to faint and toph says 'somebody catch him hes gonna faint!' how does she know?

i have a feeling she might be able to sense that. i mean its metal, and she might have felt him suddenly become light or wobbly on his feet. thats alittle more understandable

Just like how she could tell if your lying I've always thought she could just tell from the way your heart beats to just know that he was about to pass out

ya thats also very interesting, i like the lie detecting ability, but i don't understand how Azula can fool her. i mean Toph is a kick ass bender. her ability's don't lie
No, but Azula does very well, enough that her body makes no reaction when this happens, thus Top being tricked.

Same. The finale ended at 7pm and now it's 1 in the morning. I still can't get over it. I need closure somehow...

(took me long enough to catch up! lol) I loved the finale, but was a little dissapointed that they left some things hanging. like Zuko asking where his mom was?? it never said anything about it again later. and toph and her parents. it never gave us anything on that either, and i was kinda hoping for that. i dont like aang and Katara together. aang just still seems like a little kid to me. but i definaly dont want katara and zuko together. btw does anyone know their ages?? i know aang and tophs only. Going off of another convo, i liked the show from the beginning but thought i was too old to watch it. but this summer i finnally said what the heck! and now im in love. Im 16 and my friends have no idea i watch it, i get crap enough about reading harry potter. lol its nice to know im not the only one in this age group. =)
    I'm 21, lulz.

    Katara is 14
    Sokka 15

    and Zuko is 16

btw I like reading HP too XD

Birds of a feather, eh? I am currently rereading the entire HP series; it's something I try to do at least once a year, and is a lot easier now that all the books have been released.

    Lol, and I'm 16 too.

haha i LVE the HP series! reading them once a year!? wow. why didnt i think of that??

I'm just weird like that. I try to do that with most of the series I'm obsessed with. Like, when I heard about the Avatar Countdown to the Comet week, I had to break out the Avatar Book 1 and 2 boxed sets plus the episodes in Book 3 that I recorded and watched them ALL. I have a lot of free time.

The nicktoons network was doing a marathon of every avatar episode and i watched all that.
man i wish i had that much free time.

    thx
sweet i never relised the fan base was so abundant of the older teens, im 17 btw
I think the youngest you'll find here is 12 or 13. Oh and I'm 15.

    19!

just thought I'd add my age in there too

i have a feeling the younger viewers are not able to pick up on the deeper aspects of the avatar series. like the big struggle Aang goes through, or how they revisit towns more than once they might have trouble picking up the connection. i know i baby sat this 9 year old who was also an avatar fan (somewhat embarrassing) and he wouldn't be able to.

(This is the scene where Aang first meets the lion turtle) Lion Turtle: The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost. The true heart can touch the poison of hatred without being harmed. Since the beginnings of time, darkness thrives in the void, but will always yeild to purified light. (This is during the scene where Aang has his hands on Ozai's forhead and chest) Lion Turtle: In the era before the avatar, we bent not the elements but the energy within ourselves. To bend another's energy, your own spirit must be unbendable or you will be corrupted and destroyed. Hope this clears some things up.

it was in the Question/Answer thread XD

Yeah it sounds like most people couldn't understand him. You should check out the AAQGAA thread, I'm sure they explained it there.

That sucks that it ended they should of at least showed what happens to Aang and Katara did they have little airbenders/waterbenders. LOL And with Sokka and Suki, with Zuko and Mai. And with Toph she didn't end up with someone. And will Zuko ever see his mother Ursa? Also what's weird is that when an Avatar dies, they are reincarnated into the next nation in the Avatar Cycle. The Avatar Cycle parallels the seasons: winter for The Water Tribes, spring for the Earth Kingdom, summer for the Fire Nation, and autumn for the Air Nomads. But isn't Aang the last airbender what would happen there? O yea have u guy's heard that Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko the creators of avatar have also confirmed that a new series of Avatar, focusing on another incarnation of the character, is in the process of being made. I think that is going to be weird if u ask me they such just continue it were it left off.

Well As much as I love the series I think continuing it would be a bad idea, if the worlds more peaceful(well theres going to be rouges obviously) there really is no point to it. I mean Yes of course I would watch it I'm so very curious, but other than a special I just don't see it happening. An Epilouge would be lovely definately but the beauty of it is that it leaves the rest to our imaginatinos. Besides they'll run out of material.

As for a whole different series set in the same world I'm not to sure. I'll watch it I won't deny that but I don't think it would be able to add up to the original.

    I completely agree.

I would always compare it to the original =|
I hope they do not continue on Avatar and making it never ending, like Pokemon, or Inuyasha T___T
