well if goin for the DVD get the whole set in Sept.
you could rent it though to see if it has some good special features on that disc, but im sure the book 3 collections exclusive bonus disc will be more than worth it as usual.

get it on itunes now if you feel like watching it a buncha times with no commercials(unless you recorded it you wont see it with all 4 parts together for a while anyway-Nicks not airing Avatar at ALL for the remainder of the summer and Nicktoons Network has it on twice a day)

I have some of the older episodes on my itunes but the fullscreen quality isn't that great on my laptop. Maybe they improved the quality more recently though.

your video quality is determined by your laptop or your version of itunes.....not the date the episode was released...so i'd say it's worth 8 bucks definately!!!!!

well considering that even on NickHD the finale was still SD ive found that Nick has not yet or not finished the rendering of Avatar in HD (or widescreen)
Now im not sure if it was drawn in widescreen like cartoons on disney (confirmed as i have Disney HD and they are a non distorted widescreen HD pic) but i would expect them to be up to date with technology.

Anyway the itunes version is 480i standard def resolution. If your monitor is high def )pretty much 1280x720 resolution or better then it wont look to great. Nothin to do with itunes. Now, most comps have a higher resolution than standard tvs anyway so its not gonna look too great. If you want good looking get the DVD and put it on your TV or let your PC upscale it on that, or wait for a Blu-Ray release or it to come out in HD with surround sound!(i will pee myself if either of those happen)

I can't believe you made a thread for this. For all those that buy off iTunes they would've realized by now, and for those that don't, well they don't care. I've also gotta ask you to stop making these pointless threads. At least wait until your level 5 and you understand the place.

It's called freedom of speech buddy, look it up. He can make a thread about anything he wants, look at the off-topic lounge.

haha...ya.....that was fun....i was just really sad (still am) that avatar has ended....so i was expressing my opinion and thoughts...maybe a litte to much (i posted like 5 threads in an hour) anyways...i just downloaded Sozin's Comet.....i watched it again and the ending scene where sokka is painting a picture and says, "I just wanted to paint a pic so we can remember all the good times we had" or watever.....it made me almost cry cuz all of the fans have had so many good times watching the show....all that ending scene did for me is make me more depressed and want even more avatar...of course because it's gone....

Thanks for the input, I think I'll wait and see how much the DVD costs before buying anything.
