I don't know about you guys, but me (being the cheapo I am) would stay home, pop my own popcorn and get a soda, and watch Avatar on my nice sized TV in the comfort of my own room for FREE.

    What about you guys?

Yeah, why waste money to see the episode? If you got a TV, just stay home and watch it.

Yah! Seriously though. i mean, wanna make it interesting? Invite friends over. Make a pizza. Buy candy and throw it at each other during commercials. But go to the movies to spend money on it when I have a Tv (and two nicks so it'll come on twice in one night!) and a fridge, would be quite pointless.

Agreed. Although it is a tantalizing possiblity to see them early. I'm not sure if it's worth the cash though.

Couldn't you have easily put this in the Advance screenings of Secret of the Fire Nation! thread? But b4 this gets locked, let me set the record straight; I totally called it. I mean here I am months ago looking at the comic con stuff??and I'm thinking, "God this thing should be in theators, a real movie" and now low and behold its happening. Should've asked for cash. Seriously I can't believe this really happened. Sure??I wouldn't go to it myself but the fact of the matter is, its there. Really should've asked for cash.

"In conjunction with its Burger King promotion Upper Deck is sponsoring special screenings of a new one-hour special, Avatar: Secret of the Fire Nation at nine theaters in eight major markets including Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Ann Arbor, Louisville and Providence on September 9th."

The key word, in case you missed it, is SPONSORING. If a company is sponsoring something, more times than not it means IT'S FREE. It would not make any sense for Nick to charge anything, unless it's like $1, to watch this in theaters. My guess would be Nick is doing it as a special promotion for the ep. Kids will watch, then go to school and tell their friends how great it was and if they don't watch they won't be their friend anymore.

I would at least Nick would have the common decency to not make parents pay for something that will be available for free in a few weeks...
