Just realized I haven't posted in this one yet (No offense to anyone but half the music posted here I've seen way too many times in AMV's.) Here's some of mine:

Against The Wind by Stratovarius (Can be applied to the air nomads or any characters facing a struggle really.)

My Spirit Will Go On by Dragonforce (Can be applied to Aang or the Avatars I guess)

Center of the Universe by Kamelot (Already mentioned earlier, can be applied to the Avatars)

Fullmoon by Sonata Arctica (Can easily be applied to Siege of the North)

Untill We Touch The Burning Sun by Thunderstone. (Easily applied to anyFire Nationrelated thing)

Glory to the Brave by Hammerfall (Again, easily applied to any fallen Avatar character I guess, I also have it in myuploaded folder if anyone cares.)

Templars of Steel by Hammerfall (I don't where it would really go, Avatar in general I guess )

Destiny by Stratovarius (Apply it to Avatar in general, I made an AMV out of it if anyone cares that's posted on youtube if anyone cares)

Princes of the Universe by Queen (The highlander theme , apply it to Avatar's characters)

Run Away by Stratovarius (Just screams Toph.)

That's just a few, stuck with my favorite bands for this one.

Katara and her mother: "Lullaby Behind the Lines" Beth Patterson (if you don't know who this is and like great celtic and cajun music, rush out and buy one of her CDs, I swear, you won't be disappointed.)

Aang and his mother: "Lightning Crashes" Live (I don't know if his mom died before he got to know her or not, but for some reason I do, and this song seems to fit.)

Kataang: "Kiss from a Rose" Seal

    Zuko: "Lies" Evanescense

Jin and Zuko: "Hate Me" Blue October

If Zutara ever happens: "Glycerine" Bush

    Jet: "Zombie" The Cranberries

    Azula: "Get Psycho" Disturbed

Ty Lee about her crush on Sokka: "Stupid Cupid" Mandy Moore (I don't know but this song just screams Ty Lee)

Yue: "Mein Herz Brennt" Rammstein (Okay maybe the singing doesn't remind me a lot of her, it's too rough, but the lyrics remind me a lot of her for some reason.)

    Toph: "Bonecracker" Shocore

Lu Tehn: "Unknown Soldier" The Casualties

Toph and Sokka: "Common People" William Shatner (Seriously, find this one and think of them while listening to it, you'll laugh yourself sick.)

    That's about it for now.

I'm an old school country music fan so bear (bosco: rawr!) with me:

Zuko: Sweet Surrender by John Denver (it has to do with traveling to an unknown place, knowing you can never come back home)

Any ship involving katara: Annie's Song by John Denver (talks about the ocean and how much this girl remindes him of it)

Aang: Raven's Child by, again, John Denver (I need to update my music. Right now its all just my dad's tunes)

Azula: Po Lazarus by James Carter and the Prisoners (not a band. real chain gang. About the sheriff huntin 'po lazarus' )

Ozai: O Death by Ralph Stanely

Aang: I'll Fly Away by Alison Krauss and Gillian Welch

The FN: Keep on the Sunny Side of life!

Toph: Big Rock Candy Mountian by Harry McClintock

Sokka: Indian War Whoop by John Hartford (seems apropprate. More of a violin song than a war whoop. not racist)

The Gaang: Angel Band by the Stanley Brothers

Zuko, Azula, etc: Lonesome Valley by the Fairfield Four (scary song)

Iroh: In the JailHouse Now by... well The Soggy Bottom Boys

Yes the last ten or so were from the O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack.

I don't own an Ipod. I listen to cassettes and CDs and youtube AMVs. Is that sad or what?

    Anyways:

Through The Fire and Flames by Dragonforce. (Fire Nation)

Fury of the Storm by Dragonforce. (Air Nomads?)

Soldiers of the Wasteland by Dragonforce! (It works, trust me)

haha, my little sis thinks vanessa anne hudgens song "Never Under Estimate a girl" goes very well with the FN, or Zuko, lol. she even turned down the volume one day and started playing the song to "the northern air Temple" ep. the part where the FN are marching, lol. very funny. i think another song that would go well with the whole plt line would be- 'misery business' by paramore 'Fragile' by lacuna coil 'Creek mary's blood' by nightwish 'diary of jane' by breaking benjamin 'fully alive' by flyleaf 'hey there deliah' by plain white t's 'i don't love you' my chemical romance 'sweet dreams' by marilyn manson 'only one' by vitamin c and a bunch more, :p

Dragonforce unlike other bands somewhat similar to them have that "happy" sound going on. Alot of people think they're ******* for having it but I think it's nice and different, although their lyrics are really repititive.

What genre is the type of music you listen to? Its not heavy metal, or is it?

"Look Down" from Les Miserable.(The long episode wait)

    Lyric sample:

    Look down, look down,

Don't look them in the eye

    Look down, look down,

    You're here until you die.

    Person: The sun is strong.

    It's hot as hell below

Look down, look down, theirs twenty years to go.

    Person: I've done no wrong

    Sweet Jesus hear my prayer.

    Look down, look down,

    Sweet Jesus doesn't care.

I love that play!!!! (shuffles through desk draw to find CD box)

ummmm.... its actually called "Work Song"

"Look down" is a different song, sung by beggars juuuuussst before the revolution.

I like "Red and Black" for Jet. Kind of FN-ish, but the theme is rebellion. That and "Do You hear the People Sing?"

For everyone, I'd go with "One Day More." You can see Azula, all dressed up in EK clothes, singing Javert's lines:

"One day more to revolution, we will nip it in the bud.

We'll be ready for these school boys, they will wet themselves with bloood!"

    Azula-ish isn't it?

Edit: Power metal, eh? Cool. Now, to the store to buy this... DragonForce.

Say, FMA. Did you slow down for that speed bump?

I've always thought that any Fort Minor song would be great for Zuko. Remember the Name is overused in AMVs, though. For zutara... I've always been partial to "Where did you go?"

I have Rising Tied on my comp, lemme see if I can find something.

Edit: I've always liked Red to Black, iunno could be a Zuko/Aang comparison?
