We know for a fact now that Zuko's mom is dead right? Cause he did tell Katara that losing their moms to the fire nation was something they had in common right? So she's dead?

Can't yell using text dude. Yeah so anyway as for the "is she dead" thing, well at this point that's really up to you. I mean we honestly don't have enough information to confirm anything, but hey, when has that ever stopped some of the others round here?

Yeah, sounds about right. I think she's dead personally, but there is no actual proof considering the only evidence we have is scraps of Zuko's flashbacks. So feel free to think what you will.

well, technically, just because zuko thinks she's dead, doesn't mean she is dead.

She probably dead, then again zuko might just believe she is dead. I just hope they don't bring in a lovy-dovy episode where zuko is reunited with is astranged mother.

Why are you against that? I think it'd be very interesting and dramatic.

Yeah, I am hoping actually that Zuko and Aang get together, that would be a very interesting concept. Also, we really dont know what happened to Ursa, I'm hoping that shes still alive and a Fire Nation Defector.

that's just it. it's a little too dramatic, you know what i mean? it's a little too soap opera. it's not.... beleivable. i mean, they've been trying to kill each other for months, and then all of a sudden, everyone's forgiven and they're all best friends and traveling together? i don't buy it.

Well, it wouldn't be suddenly. Katara would be the first person to probably accept him. Sokka would hate his guts for a while, Toph would probably be all reluctant, they'd most likely argue all the time and they'd end with someone storming off and being retarded and crap...it wouldn't be like a walk in Central Park or anything. But they'd get through it with one common goal: To ice off Zuzu's psychotic father.

As long as all the "Peace and love and Joy to you" Shiat stayed out of it, I doubt it would get too soap opery (yes. That would definetely suck)

And hi! I haven't talked to you in forever!!!!!

I agree. People that are assumed dead need to stay dead. Like Jet, cool character and all, but it would ruin the plot if he lives. His mother, kind of needs to stay dead if that makes any sense. No miracle workings, no "omg you're alive?!", death is a part of life, and there's no need to bring Ursa "back" from the dead.

hmmm. i kind of like that idea! Sokka's never ever ever going to like him, especially if he started dating his baby sister. as long as katara and zuko stay away from each other, i think aang and zuko could.... at least.... not kill each other. i think aang will be a little more forgiving, but he'll still probably be a little scared of zuko. he has been trying to kill him for a while now. but if zutara happens (besides me jumping off the roof) aang will never accept zuko as part of the group.

i like the idea of toph and zuko becoming friends. i will go down to the nick studio and burn the place to the GROUND if they become a couple, but i think they have a lot in common. and plus, toph is already friends with iroh, so to speak, and she wasn't around in season one, when everyone else was trying to kill each other, so she has no real reason to hate zuko.

i guess it wouldn't so terrible if the writers really put some stuff into the plot line and didn't make it so everyone forgave each other just like that. LAME.

    and hi! by the way.

Yea, having some controversey(sp?) would be good. I will shoot the writers if aang and everyone else is like "hey welcome to the group!" I have a bad feeling that Iroh is going to *sheds tear* die/get injured/stay behind within the next couple coming up episodes. It would be weird if there was an older person in the group (no matter how cool Iroh is!)

Well first off Zuko hasn't been trying to kill them, just capture Aang, complete difference.

I know what you mean, but it's an animated television show it was never going to be realistic. I could??sit here and name all the plot holes, big and small, that this show has had already, but who would waste their time reading it???I doubt this was the creators original ideas they probably changed them along the way, I mean, if you look back at "The Boy??in the Iceburg" and then now to "The Earth King" things have changed so, so much. No dramatic changes like that take??place over, what, a six month period? *sigh* I kind of miss the way it was......anyway.

I hope Zuko does??meet up with his mother, just like, at the very end of the series so they don't make a big deal out of it over a prolonged period of time. I really hope she isn't dead.

And, like some people have already said, just because Zuko thinks she's dead, doesn't mean she is. I mean yeah, he did say she was lost, but he may just think that she's gone. Who really knows? We'll just have to wait and see.

Yea, I agree. You can't have two people constinatley trying to kill each other all the time, and then be all like "hey join the club!" If they did it gradually......maybe, but these are two destinies that shouldn't have crossroads...

If Zuko thinks that his mom is , she probable is. He loved his mom, and if there was any hope that she was alive, he would be the first to look for her.

Maybe he was told by Fire Lord Ozai she was dead because he didn't want to tell him that she ran off or something. There's a million possilbities and I for one refuse to believe that she is dead until I'm actually told that she is dead, or we see her in the spirit world or something...
