Sokka coming into his own

    I have been reviewing all of season one on DVD, and one thing I noticed is Sokka's improvement.

    ever since Bato took him Ice Dodging and made him an official warrior ( i Believe), minutes later he started becoming the real leader of the group.

    he gets all the girls now

    he is a pivotal??person in many battles

    and his weapons skills have greatley improved.

    plus he still comes with the funny.

    has anyone else seen this change.

    ur right, but it took some time though... i think his training with the Kyoshi warriors really helped, and dont forget he got girls since the beginning of the show (Suki, 4th episode). he also felt he was the leader of the group (episode ''Jet'') since the beginning. i think this is because he pretty much was the leader of their home village (because he was the oldest male).

    totally agree i took some time as well as trial and error.
    but I noticed the shift in confidence and leadership after the forementioned event.

    true, he's also the one who decided (sort off...) that they should go to the Earth King and get the EK's support in defeating the FN... i think the gaan would have a huge problem without him. he saved their asses, including entire villages, multiple times. just think about the Northern Air Temple, the FN village in ''Jet'' and ofcourse BSS! he's really important!

    and I dont know but that speech he gave the earth king, even though it came from a clown like sokka. man was that inspiring and motivating!

    lol now i think about it... Sokka seems to have done more important things then Katara and Toph together!

    oh god yeah sokka has had other help doing his growing up like the kyoshi worriers and other things but her does flirts with like evry girl and he has gotten alot better at fighting and he has the funneist lines too.

    ohhh dont wanna make this a speculation thread.

    but can you see Sokka and Zuko swoord fighting/ training.

    lets not forget sokka is the guy who made sure to get the date of the eclipse even though the library was sinking.

    Me too. Sokka is one of my favorite characters and deserves to win against another person. Yah a battle with him and Mai would be kool but I also think a battle between him and Ty Lee would be kool.

    Sokka Alone, like the adventure with his dad would be cool.

    I wonder what other weapons he will weild ( water tribe weapons )
