I'm so sorry that happened.?? However, are you sure that it was Nick's or Viacom's doing??? It may have been Youtube or the music company that caused your vids to get removed.?? According to this news item, Nick's current policy (unofficial I'm sure) with Youtube is to remove the episode uploads, but leave fanvids alone.??
    http://www.avatarspirit.net/index.php#368
In fact, this item makes it sound like the folks at Nick are not only aware of all the fanvids but are actually pleased that fans go to the trouble of making them.?? Whew!

I will post this info to the ask a question... thread too.

Great. The one thing that made Youtube a succes was being able to get shows like this for free. Now that you can't a see Youtube crumbling. Good job Google, you bought a good website and ruined it. The good news s it only cost you a few million dollars.

well, you could just watch all the episodes over at TurboNick. that's what I'm doing to watch all the episodes in order. www.nick.com/turbonick should work. may need some loading time and may not work well or at all on some computers. that's why i'm on my mom's laptop. i'm only 12, that's why.

Uploaded episodes from Youtube are Illegal. I see your logic though let's just disregard the law because we're too cheap to pay for the episodes ourselves or we just don't want to wait for the episodes to come back on TV.

Good for Google I say they're doing the right thing even though it's not a popluar one.

ok this makes me suffer in 2 ways:

1.- i wont be able to see them, unless of course i get them before deleted, perhaps i will be able to see them but still it would take some time to find them, i live in mexico and here if we're VERY lucky we will get the 2 movies (desert/library, drill/serpents path) this next 2 weekends.

2.- MY VIDS ARE GOING TO GET DELETED!!! well if the nick not cairing for the rights of fan made vids its true then my avatar the last chipmunk project will be safe but ALL THE OTHER ONES WILL DIE!!!!, so if you could just well do me a favor, go to youtube and put edmastercharmin146, i know im doing a commercial but i just want my vids to be seen by as many persons as they can before the go-gle (parody of dai-le for google) gets to them

Again, it is against copyright laws to post episodes of a TV show on the internet without the consent of the copyright owners. Having TV episodes on Youtube may have been great for a while, but I'm frankly glad it's over. Essentially Youtube was making money off of the episodes (by people clicking the links, they are making Youtube's advertising rates higher). That is not right for anyone other than those involved with the show to be making money off the show.

CBS has taken their shows down too. Viacom owns them too. And companies can get anal about third-party sites posting their original shows. Just be thankful their not filing a lawsuit against those who posted them

The same thing happened with all the Detective Conan movies and episodes.?? I was pissed until I found www.guba.com and they had a much better selection.?? Anyway, they have Avatar too, but the selection is not as good as YouTube's.?? On the bright side, the screen is bigger and you don't have to watch the episodes in segments.?? Another choice is www.veoh.com.?? They are more similar to YouTube, and have a really good selection.
