So, avatar's coming to an end... :(

    I have 2 show ideas, one is an epic fantasy similar to Avatar, but still original, and one is about superheroes, that's all I'll say.

    sounds cool! I'd watch something similar to Avatar! In fact, we need more shows like it, more shows that center on the characters, plot, and storyline more than comic relief(although its good to have a little of that somewhere)! Sadly, I don't think we can trust Nick or CN with this because:

    -the way Nick treats Avatar right now is proof enough
    -CN treats basically anything that's not comic relief poorly and later pushes it between the 6 and 7 a.m. timeslot in the morning. Storm Hawks was supposed to be a special show, but later, CN just pushed it off, and then later pushed it to 6:30 a.m. on weekdays!
    -Nick throws away anything not as highly-rated as SpongeBob such as El Tigre, which doing decently until they decided to push it off!

    -A Jak or Ratchet & Clank TV series
    -A Final Fantasy series(thats not already a game or movie)
    -Something similar to Jak or Ratchet & Clank?

    there needs to be a station specificly dedicated to this sort of thing..... With deep plots and characters and whatnot...

    As awesome as that would be, it would fail. Avatar is a cult following, most people enjoy mindless reality TV shows, generic sitcom and endless soaps, they don't want to have to think about what they're watching. That's why Avatar fails and Spongebob succeeds, people want SB. When awesome shows like Avatar come around, only a select few people can be bothered to sit back and appreciate it, and only those people truly enjoy the show for all its worth.

    Remember: Public approval =/= good show
    and similarly
    Good show =/= Public approval

    I maintain that a fourth Avatar season would be good, just because defeating the fire nation isnt enough. They touched on it in 3x2 The Headband, What about the next generation of fire nation-ites? More: Also, their might be people wary of trusting the fire nation. How do they free the fire colonies in the earth kingdom? Rebuilding cities like Ba Sing Se, Omashu, the southern water tribe. Their will still be a lot to fix.

    I'm sorta glad Avatar is ending, I mean I "severly dislike" the new season, and I don't want it to be one of those shows that go on forever no matter how bad it is or how tired of it we get.

    Besides, the movies are still coming! I'm looking forward to those.
