There is more bending withing the main elements??I have listed above the side bendings of the main elements it is up to you to guess Air.

Well, it could be gas bending. (I mean natual gases, not farts)

Also, you forgot that earth benders also do sand bending, and the sand benders are their own little thing altogether, under the catagory of Earth.

based on iroh's explanation, should't any bender be able to use lighning? it's not really about fire, it's about separating oposing energies, so theoretically...just a thought.

Yeah, somewhere in the season three speculations. That vacumbenders suck the air out of their opponents, something like that.
