Shouldn't there have been like season 4 - Book f or whatever?

Hey, I'm new (to Avatar not Tv.com) And realized Avatar ended this year. But when I checked the episodes, it seen that there were only 3 seasons, and up to book 3 (hence there were 4 elements). Why didnt they finish out with the fourth book titled w/ the fourth element? Sorry if I sound like a newb, but hey, I am!

It's nice that you admitted you didn't know what you were talking about, ahahaha. I'll fend off the hatersz. EVERYONE BACK THE HELL UP! This kid is new and he admits it. NO FLAMING! (Isabel approves this message)

There will be no season 4, simply because there was never one planned. The explanation with the four elements and the three books is because each book was planned for each element that Aang was going to learn. Aang already learned air bending, hence no need for a fourth season. Any more questions you need answered, go to the AAQGAA thread (Ask a questions get an answer). Welcome to the boards

Aaaaaaaaaanyway, the creators planned only three seasons...blah blah blah...season names represent elements Aang learned...yadda yadda yadda... it's been a great ride...etc etc etc...look forward to the three movies...yackity yackity yackity...Avatar has ended.
