I love Uncle Iroh, he was one of my favorite charters. One reason he was so good was because of Mako who of course died. Although I hate to see Iroh die I would hate to here some one do his voice. What do you think?

Note: In tales of Ba Sing Se there is a point were they do not use his voice. It is in The "Tale of Iroh", when he is telling the kids, who just broke the window, that they should apologises.

I don't think anyone will be able to fill Iroh/Mako's shoes. That much is true. It was really horrific hearing someone else's voice doing Iroh in 'The Tales of Ba Sing Se.' It was so irritating in fact we mute the voice whenever we watch the episode because we want Mako's voice there so very badly. Additionally we have issues with the fact that this was Mako's tribute episode and as such it was fitting that it ALL be Mako.

I voted 'no' to killing Iroh off but I understand those who feel that Iroh is essentially Mako and really without his??voice the power of the character of Uncle Iroh will most??likely be??lost or lessened.

But it is equally heart-breaking for me to think of Zuko or the Avatar world without our beloved Uncle Iroh. He is the??greatest balancer to the Fire Nation's quest for all-consuming power and the best mentor Zuko could ask to have.

Iroh probably will die in season 3. But it wont be because of his voice actor dying. It will be due to how the story was written.

It could go either way. They were looking for a new voice actor, but I hope he doesn't die anyway. He prolly will though, unless they are planning on doing more seasons.

WHAT!? No offence, but ARE YOU CRAZY?! Really, I'm sorry, but I love Iroh, and I really don't think he should die! I mean, the first time watching Tales of Ba Sing Se, I didn't even notice the change in voice. If the guy who voiced Iroh for that part is the replacement, then I would be happy.

The only way I would say he should die, just because Mako died, would be if the made a horrible dessision in chosing the replacement, like say they used Spud's voice, Daffy Duck's voice or Donald duck's voice. I have nothing aginst them when paired with thouse charicters. It's just, imagen Iroh saying "Your Disspiccable", toung, spit and everything.

Also, imagin poor Zuko with out Iroh. Iroh was more of a father to him than his own father. It just woulden't be fair to do that to him.

No,??I don't think??Iroh??should die.?? He is one of the??many??characters??that has made??the??show??great.?? Yes Mako did a wonderful job??doing the??voice of Iroh and?? no one could replace his talent and?? he will greatly be missed, but I think by killing of Iroh would be disrespectful to Mako.

Should Iroh die? I guess it depends. HE is an awesoem character but I am always against new voice actors for the same character unless it's the same voice actor just experimenting with the voice. Making it up as you go along I guess.

You just can't have another voice try to copy the personality and all from the first voice. Especially if the first voice did it like perfectly. It just ain't the same. And then there's the fact that everyone is gonna be watching out for the new voice. It's gonna sound cheap. But have Iroh die cuz of that? Well who knows. The story has to be good for him die. If they have to change what they already written which might be worse, then no. Story comes before acting or voice.

But then again, you don't see many people die in stories anymore. Which is why it can be annoying. Too many people can't stand drama. Yes don't start adding drama left and right but come on. So should Iroh die? It all depends.

Iroh seems to kind of seek death. Not in a suicidal way but a way to finally get a release from the mortal coil of life, and be with his son. He seems to enjoy his old age, but he still wishes to be with his son.

Well yeah. We don't want him to but his death may make Zuko see what is really going on. Or it will turn him more to the "dark side"

I'm saddened that Mako died, and it will be hard to hear Iroh with a new voice, but I hope that the story goes on just as originaly planned, no detours because of a different voice. Killing off a character as major as Iroh (or any character, major or minor, really) when they aren't supposed to die would set off the original plan tremendously, and everything would be different than how they envisioned it in the first place. I vote NO to killing off Iroh unless it was originaly planned from the begining......

I really wonder what the Iroh voice will be like for Season 3? If it's the earthbending soccer voice it's not??gonna??be pretty.
