What if season 3 ended with just aang learning fire bending and nickeleodean decided to make the series finale a movie? How well do you think it would do?

I'd rather they make another season than do a 2 hour movie....20 episodes could be one hell of a finale ^_^

The creators would have to put a lot of work into this and go through Nick to make it a 2-hour movie. I could see it happening.

I hope not movies are always different then the serie itself, better looks sometimes even diffrent clothing, they always wanna adjust certain things which they can't change in the show itself and most of the time it'll ruin the series... But that's just my opinion.

Yes movies are often different but I mean 4 eps vs 20 eps...surely everyone of us here is here because we all love The Avatar and would want to see as much of it as possible.

Some debate that it would be pointless to watch past the "Fire Nation trying to conquer the world" plot but if the show remains as amazing as it is and we all enjoy it then I'm pretty sure none of us are going to stop watching...so why watch a finale of 4 eps and be done with avatar forever if you can watch another season and continue the saga ?

Creating a new avatar guy is just plain money making and would ruin the creativity of the series, also it won't have many new things to show thus giving the same old song in a different version.
But then again it could be good, if there is a movie I will watch if there is a new season I will watch it as long as Aang is in it I probably watch it but without him I won't watch it.....

Covering the bit of "upping the standards", I think they could do that with minor profanity and maybe a little bloodshed. But nothing too major.

I think it would lower the show if they used profanity. As has been made obvious in almost every episode, you don't need @#$% to make an emotional statement.

An entire season would be so much better. Oh, and if you haven't realized it yet, the third season is already assured. There's no way it will be cut down to a movie. Unless you are talking about a fourth season. Cause then, I don't know.
