Secret Ninja Mission: I think I might know what it will be about (and when)

    Warning: Contains Boiling Rock Spoilers

    When: Beginning of the part 4 finale (because we need to face the fact that there is just not enough time in episode 316 for a ninja mission because we're supposed to learn about Katara and Sokka's mom in that one and have that airship fight at the end where Zuko and Azula are falling- which we know happens before the final because in Ember Island Players Sukki doesn't have her prison clothes but in the airship scene she does)

    Okay, so here's my guess. We find out where Ursa is, whether she is in hiding or is captured, either way we find out, maybe in EIP. Anyway, so Zuko decides that he HAS to go find her (because I'm not sure if this is speculation or not but I thought the creators confirmed that he goes to look for her at some point in the series). Now, because Zuko helped Sokka find their mother, Katara feels obligated to go... because she still doesn't fully like him, she feels like she owes him for helping Sokka, so she decides it's only fair if she (grudgingly) helps him too. So the beginning of the 4 part finale: Zuko and Katara go looking for his mom. I know that sounds crazy to put in the finale, but there's not going to be 4 episodes of Aang battling Sozin, so why not. Maybe they even find Uncle at that point, where ever he is- because I'm sure he'll be needed for the battle too. I have a feeling a lot of old characters will be turning up for that.

    I know some people may say this isn't worthy as a thread, but NO ONE reads anything people post in the Speculation thread if its not posted by someone everyone knows like Lisa or Wiselad.

    nice speculation. but for some reason i think that fight where they fall will be at the beginning of 316. then they go to ember island and then zuko and katara go for the mission and then come back later. and the hug might take place there to

    However, this was what I was thinking, as well. I dunno; just a feeling I guess. It seems a little cramped, but- er...how long to Avatar fight scenes that are not in big specials appear to happen?

    haha. And simply put, its his MOTHER. If you're mother had vanished when you were younger and you had a lead on where to find her, wouldn't you want to go look for her?

    my point was that zuko would be more focused on helping the Gaang at this point in the show than looking for his mother

    Maybe he was inspirerd by helping Sokka find Hakoda.

Now, because Zuko helped Sokka find their mother, Katara feels obligated to go... because she still doesn't fully like him, she feels like she owes him for helping Sokka, so she decides it's only fair if she (grudgingly) helps him too. So the beginning of the 4 part finale: Zuko and Katara go looking for his mom. I know that sounds crazy to put in the finale, but there's not going to be 4 episodes of Aang battling Sozin, so why not. Maybe they even find Uncle at that point, where ever he is- because I'm sure he'll be needed for the battle too. I have a feeling a lot of old characters will be turning up for that.
    It's their father that Zuko & Sokka found, and the current firelord is Ozai not Sozin. Nice speculation thouh.

    Yea why the heck would Zuko want to find his long lost mother who was a loving and caring person. It just makes no sense.
    I know why would he want to find one of the two people in his family who actually cared about him? It makes not sence. (Just incase u don't know, this message is dripping with sarcasim).

    my point was that zuko would be more focused on helping the Gaang at this point in the show than looking for his mother
    Maybe he was inspirerd by helping Sokka find Hakoda.

    Or, she's in danger or something, or he thinks she could be in danger. But I see what you mean, there are definitely other pressing matters. But still, its his mother, and if he had some kind of tip off to where she was, well I'm willing to bet he'd search for her.
