    UPDATE: Sorry! I didn't see the other thread because the title didn't say anything about a DVD...So...Feel free to lock this..

    With discussion flowing around the 'net about when exactly new episodes will air on Nickelodeon, including the 4-part series finale, those folks at Paramount Home Entertainment have this morning made the announcement that those final four episodes will come to DVD on July 29. Here is the studio description (WARNING: contains info that could be considered spoilers):

    The kids return to the Fire Nation and prepare for their final confrontation with Firelord Ozai, but they discover that the Firelord has plans of his own: he has ordained himself Phoenix Lord and appointed Princess Azula as the next Firelord. In the spectacular 4-part finale of Avatar Book 3: Fire, Aang fulfills his destiny as Avatar and confronts the Firelord in the greatest battle of the series.

    Avatar: The Last Airbender - Book 3: Fire, Volume 4 will be a single DVD running 123 minutes and costing $16.99 SRP. As always we expect this release to contain audio commentaries by the people behind the show, and an exclusive comic book enclosed in the package. Here is the package art for this release:

    Christopher Walken in a gun fight with Samuel Jackson and the winner has to fight Chuck Norris, Optimus Prime, Darth Vader, and Batman, isn't half as bad ass as that pic.
