Just in case there are Nick execs strolling this forum, here's an idea to make Avatar draw more viewers: Show it on prime time without the horrible slimetime stupidity.

HERE HERE!!!! I watched it last friday...AND LIL' JJ HAD AN AIRBENDER !!!!!11one My mom had to whack me before I would stop going on about how degrading that was to Avatar fans! GAWD!!! It annoyed me to no end....AND WTF?!?!?! HAIRBENDING?!?!?! It's like a bad sue-fic, but in real life!

Lil JJ is a disgrace to the Nickelodeon network and so is Slimetime. Can't we go back to the good ol' days where Avatar aired on a regular Friday night with no stupid gimmick to lessen the significance of the event?

Yes, please. Remember episodes 14-17 (?) when Slimetime jinxed up the airtimes and we got Catscratch instead? Bad days, people. Bad days.

And that slut!! Hairbending? God not even Mary Sues and Gender Bending are that horrid.

Oh yes, 14-17. The dark, dark days.

*Is now in the corner suffering a mental breakdown.* Find a happy place, find a happy place!

That sure was a living h311. I didn't know what to do without avatar!!!! I was so excited to see some avatar, but alas, we see catscratch crap! Who cares about freakin' catscratch? (No offense to catscratch fans)

Those episodes were aired either 10 to even 20 minutes before 8/7pm (the original air time) or even 10 to 20 minutes late and it varied on each premiere. I remembered recording it and got part of Catscratch or Spongebob and the other part being Avatar that night. We were lucky reruns were aired during the weekends.

Okay...I didn't have a problem during those days since I don't record and I just keep the tv on (w/o watching) until Avatar comes on so I don't miss it...rather good strategy actually...

If memory serves me correct the eps 14-17 all aired 10 no more than minutes before 8pm. It never aired before that or after 8.

I couldn't remember what it was but none of them premiered right on 8/7pm.

More evidence: Don't forget Rocko: That show deserved more than the 52 episodes (or whatever) it got. Their spineless cancellation of Ren & Stimpy. Their cancellation of Hey Arnold after 100 episodes (would have had at least 2 more) because the creator wouldn't sign an exclusivity contract - apparently it is a crime for a man to want to make some money to put some food on the table. Not showing certain episodes of Angry Beavers and CatDog in the US for childish reasons. Not showing the entire last season of The Angry Beavers in the US. Extending Spongebob way beyond its prime (which was roughly 2001-02) just to make money. Putting on Slimetime. Making Catscratch. Not giving The Fairly Oddparents a proper send-off (their last episode will be a stupid Jimmy-Timmy Power Hour).

I could go on, but I'll save y'all the reading.

They better not cancel it. At least go with the three seasons and maybe add more seasons for fun or do a spin-off.

If they cancel Avatar they'll never see the end of me, and they shall all feel my wrath.

What did Pakku tell one of his pupils? "Maybe someday you'll be able to fight a sea sponge." Here's hoping someday is soon. X-??

Sure! When Katara was wiping the floor with Pakku's other pupils in the season finale.
