This is for you to debate the seasons.?? Please explain your answer as well as voting.

Season 1 Reason: It was fresh!?? A whole new show, with a great new idea.?? From fun beginnings to dramatic endings with a perfect mix of comedy, action, drama??and storyline, it had so many great episodes.?? Sure it had a few bad ones (GREAT DIVIDE!!!!!), but they all have a point later on the story.?? Then, there's SOTN, the greatest episode of all time.?? The storm, Blue Spirit, all classic!?? So vote Season 1 for best season.

Season 2 Reason: As good a it gets, sure it's not over yet,??but everything has been fantastic.????From new characters (Azula, Toph), to excellent episodes (Avatar State, Blind Bandit, Bitter Work, and??Zuko Alone),??as well??as movies (Secret of the Fire Nation, Fury of Aang), season 2 has it all.?? ??And a great nemesis, not some guy who always loses and gets mad.?? Azula??is strong, and a great character.?? Including mysteries (thanks Zuko Alone), and even more drama, plus a little comedy, season 2 is truly great!?? Vote season 2.

    My vote: Season 2

the show has matured alot which is a good thing?????? but the comedy is not as good to me because i hate how they show sokka as the comic relief although his jokes are funny they need to show the more smart and brave side of sokka but comedy is good just not extreming it...........like they are doing now

(You could have made this into a poll a well, you know)

well, the first episode I saw was "The Library"... so that may be my reason for having a bias... Season Two hands down. I havent really found a wasted episode, and the stories and morals are even better this season.

Plus... Toph is cool. hahah. I mean cmon. A blind girl who can see, and is freakin powerful.

Season 2. Its has a balance of storyline, moral, and a touch of good comedy.

Yes. I got so excited off how Toph was blind but she could do so much...that's an awesome thing. She definetely brings something to the group.

    Yah Toph!

You'll be surprised; a lot of people up here agree. ask someone and i'll bet you they say the same thing; that Sokka's character isn't looked at as a hero or warrior, just the useless comic. It's pathetic.

I really like how the made out sokka in the pilot episode the strong warrior and a little sarcasism I hope they dont go overboard with the comedy in the future

    Hopefully they won't.

But i'm going to be honest with you; I loved Sokka in Fury of Aang. I mean, here they were, stuck in the desert thinking they might die; Aang was furious and blinded by rage to even try to help his friends, Toph was vunerable for probably the first time in her life, and Katara was trying so hard to keep them together......

.......And Sokka was high off cactus crack. It was mood lifting for me. I mean, it took off some of the loaded drama and angst and actually gave the plotline a bit of lightheartedness. And even you have to admit, Sokka does seem liek the type to drink some random plant in the middle of the desert....

It was good that time, and in the first season. But in some of the episodes, his use as the "comic relief" wasn't all that necessary. and hopefully they'll lay off a bit in the future.

I totally agree, Sokka rocks in season 2.?? He is not just comic relief, he adds so much to the story now.?? It began in the northern air temple.

Lol. Oh yes. Momo was effin hilarious. I think he favors Sokka personally.

Well, after Aang. But he doesn't count in this situation. I think Sokka and Momo have a realyl similar personality...

*wonders why she's comparing a Lemur to an actual human*

I must say that Avatar has matured over the season and has got more interesting (I didn't know that was possible) So I would have to say in my opinion season 2 wins over season 1
