Nope, I'm not a n00b. Psshh. I've been here longer than most people here. Anyway, if they're still here...AllKnowingBeing, has the question already been answered in the Question/Answer thread, or did you mean that I should take my question there? |

Does anyone find it odd that Avatar and other such shows are at San Diego Comic Cons. |
I started pondering that when I went to Comic Con and found myself thinking, "Wow. Why are so many people here dressed up as super heroes?" I guess the whole 'Comic' part didn't register in my brain.
But I guess the answer as to why TV shows are there is because it's an opportunity to advertise, which companies are oh-so-quick to grasp. Whether that's a good thing or not, I'm not sure. =/

When I was going to the NYCC, I had to explain to people several times that Comic Cons don't just have comics.
I guess it's easier than calling it a Film, TV, Cartoon, Comic book Convention.

No fair. You're not even in the same country and it's still closer to you...;____; Tijuana? I've been to Mexico a couple times, but never to Tijuana. I hear it's pretty crazy. Is that true? |
