    I declare this thread .

Well, now that that's over with, What do you think happened to Prof. Zei? Do you think he's dead, played no importance to the series whatsoever, or will have an apperence in the finale?

Well this sort-of can't be answered there because no only does my question deal with an episode not aired yet, it is also an opinion question, the answers won't always be the same...

I think he was just there so they could find out about the eclipse and show where Zhao found out about the Moon and Water spirits.

I don't believe we'll be seeing him again. Personally I think after the library sank he smothered under the sand.

Though it would be funny to see Aang go into the Spirit World and bump into him.

Yup, he's died of starvation by now, just like Master Yu and Xin Fu in Toph's metal box... since no one except her could get them out. Oh how morbid this show can be when you think about it. lol!

I think he's dead, given that he's buried underground without food/water...

I don't know. I think if Prof. Zei could somehow have proved his absolute and unconditional love of knowledge, Wa Shi Tong might have kept him alive, maybe turned him into one of those fox spirits or something.

Wa Shi Tong said that he was going to take back all the knowledge, so that could mean he went back to the spirit world. I don't think Wa Shi Tong is a bad little bird, he just lost all faith in mankind after all the wars he has seen in his life. This means that he wouldn't have killed Prof. Zei, and since it appears not to be a problem if a human enters the spirit world (don't forget that Iroh went there as well) he would have taken the prof. with him. Ow, and dont forget that you don't get older when you're in or connected with the spirit world. I know this because Aang stayed in the Avatar State for about 100 years without growing older. When he got out of the iceberg Sokka asked him why he wasn't frozen, so being frozen can't be it.

Dang, this might be the biggest Theory Craft I've ever come up with xD
