i just wanted to know why other people really watched avatar, and love it so much. I love it due to the fact that the creators didn't focus on just action, they really did care about the plot. there were even episodes that were devoted just to plot development. the reason why i think that so many people like this show so much is b/c of how well the creators married the plot and action so well. not to mention that the chacters had true depth. when azula broke down, many of you found it funny, but i persoally found it, well, sad. here is a person that was once extremly powerful due to the fear that she instiled in others. after mai and ty lee betrayed her you just watch as she breaks down and lets her paranoia, destroy her, it is truely sad.

well enough from me (for now) i want your opinion, and give an example of a specifi part you felt was very strong, (like my azula opinion) weather it be plot or action.

You forgot the shipping- that's almost as important as the plot.

i agree with that as well. i love the way that they tackel humor. unlike a lot of other shows they do rely of slapstick, they always come up with new and different ways to make us laugh. Even though we all know sokkas jokes suck, we can't help but laugh at how bad they are, and how everyone else around him reacts

Wow, I don't I'd go as far and say that. The plot is 100x more important than shipping, you start shipping you end up like Zutarians, who only focus on that aspect of the show, and then say the finale failed cause your ship didn't happen.

I am a zutarian, I enjoy shipping, but I do not think the finale failed...please stop grouping us all together...

I apologize for that. Some people didn't like the finale because of shipping. But a lot of people over analyize the shipping of Avatar, it's not really that important to the overall story, as let's say Zuko's redemption story, or his betrayal of Iroh.

But the point is that there are 2 categories of Zutarians.. One kind just enjoy the whole complexity of the ship and just support it because it sounds interesting and is unexpected. Also, they know how the plot is going to turn and accept how the story will end without a bitter feeling but still follow the ship for the fun of it... The other kind is just trying to make themselves seem more right than any other ship, and will sometimes loose their sanity in the process.. Not saying this is always the case...but it is pretty close...

Yeah well, my sister is the "other kind". I had to listen to her gripe about the way it turned out between Zuko and Katara. In doing so, she has completely missed out on the whole series...despite the fact that she watched every episode.

As for the topic, I found Avatar to be an epic cartoon artistically, plot wise, and action wise.
