I don't think the THQ people hardly watch avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already beat the game, and the storyline is really... wierd O_o. The THQ people don't even know where Omashu is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On the world map in the game, they start at the Northern Water Tribe. From there, they go to an EK village occupied by the FN. After that, you go to Haru's village to help out. Then you go to Omashu, but on the world map it shows the 4th location in Ba Sing Se!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! It doesn't mention Ba Sing Se at all, but THQ thinks that Omashu is the capital of the EK and that Bumi is the king of THE ENTIRE EK!!!!!!!!!! Omashu is NOT where Ba Sing Se is. Wow, THQ is REALLY stupid!!!!!!!!!!!

    A) It's a kids game...

    B) It's a kids game...

    C) They probably started making it after season one, so season two probably wasn't even written yet

    D) It's a kids game...

sometimes I think people don't think

First off, it sounds like you're not thinking. there are hundreds of kids' games out there that are better (WAY better) than this one, from what I've heard. Second off, since it takes 9 to 11 months to make one episode, after Season 1, the writers would have been well underway for Season 2 already, so the creators of the game should have been able to get at least some parts of Season 2 in there. They could have at least included Toph since she's one of the main characters now.

I definitely agree with you. I have played a lot of kids games and a lot of them have been very fun and actually pretty deep. For example I just recently played Lego Star Wars which is classified as a kids game and I loved it. So just because a game is for kids, does not give it an excuse to be poorly made.

You may be right about the quality of a kids game... But as for the seasons... If I read correctly, the game was written in conjuction with Nick, so the writers of the show have major input into the story for the game. I would imagine the game was being made during season one, it takes about 18 months to two years for even the most basic games, so the story would have been done before writing on season 2 was starting.

Everyone must be forgetting a little thing called??THE FINAL FANTASY SERIES! Nick should of had SquareEnix do the game, but for the PS3 not the PS2. The new Final Fantasy's have amazing graphics, awesome storylines, and they take a couple days for my brother to beat and he's a super intense gamer, so the way they are written is very good and an actual challenge. Just because ATLA is a kids show doesn't mean they have to give it lame graphics or a bad storyline, thinking that the kids won't care. It's insulting, and a disgrace to the Avatar series.

I'm sorry but I have to laugh... An absolute fortune goes into the Final Fantasy Series, there is no way Nick would (even could) spend that much on the game... No to metion it would take 5 years to make it! Not everything can be AAA, and not everything can have super uber awesome graphics! Point taken on the story however, but like I said, Nick had a hand writing the story!

You need to collect Learth Strips, and Honey, then take them to the Herbalist and craft the Hard Leather Strips.

You can buy the materials from tarders, or find them in chests.

I was suprised to hear about the lack of spoken dialogue in the PS2 version... I played the PC version a little at my friends house the other day, and although I didn't play it for very long, almost *all* the dialogue from the parts I played was spoken.

In the central market... It's an old woman not far from where you started in Omashu.

i heard bioware is tinkering around with a jade empire 2, which is the similar to avatar in sooooo many ways. (there are even easy-to-learn air-fire-earth-ice magic techniques which are EXACTLY like bending) i wonder what it would take to convince them to go in a different direction with an avatar game...

seriously, even if it was sub-par for a bioware game, it would still be awesome, and probably win a few awards.

I love all the ideas and stuff floating around and I wish they took even half an interest in making the games any good, but Nick has a contract with the people who make their games ( THQ ) that is good through 2010, so all of our hopes of a decent game...is not really looking so well.

I'm sorry. Bioware, or any other tripleA studio would not pick up the license for this cartoon - ever. It's not in their interest to do so.

As soon as I saw that THQ was making this game, I said to myself. Is THQ trying to give avatar a bad name.

For myself, it's a matter of good storytelling.?? It doesn't matter what media it is presented in, a story is still a story.?? It angers me that we watch Seven Samurai and call it a classic masterpiece; but if you took it, and it had been animated scene for scene, it would never have gained any appreciation in America.Which is sad since the old Warner Bros cartoons were for adults, not kids.

I also have told people that when I have kids, I won't have a problem watching the shows they will since I still enjoy them myself.?? That means good old quality time.?? And they'll be intelligent viewers since I'll be talking about the show with them, and I'm a smart guy.?? ;-D
